Before Recorded History, many lands rose their kingdoms from the foundation of trade, cooperation, or warfare. Once such nation had yet to be named, settled upon by children of ivory skin-tone. As time passed many settlements both minor and major would grow and prosper. Leadership over the people and nation would be debated and fought amongst themselves for a time. And their were those who desired to aid the people in finding the path to take in life.

Among these who desired to find the path their people must take, was Maria, one who's beauty was that of a queen. She would look pass the bickering among her people and find comfort in a mother, father, and their child. Seeing them enjoy life and bask in one another's love and warmth would ignite a flame within the young maiden. Maria would commune with her fellow peace-keepers one faithful night and desired to know whom or what crafted them and gave the mortal race life.
One among them would believe they were created by a higher power, a being known as The Creator. In the mid-night of that day, when all debates rested along with the people, Maria would fall to her knees near a single lit candle and attempt to commune onto The Creator. Her prayer would not be answered and she would fall asleep in her prayer position, a symbol of her determination to form a covenant with this divine being.
The sun would arise the next day and Maria and her fellow associates would find several heads among the people holding a public debate of how they may determine who among them shall lead over their growing settlements. Among them was the representative of Maria and the followers of The Creator. A man named Bennett would propose the formation of "Houses", they who would govern the settlements and aid the people in following their example.
