Dario, Leader of the Old Gods, Father of Salvation and King of The Realm of Infinity, would finally lose the war against the Ivorian Gods at the hands of Abiel's firstborn. Even after the Primordial's defeat, Dario would not admit it and would seek to battle them to the end. To his surprise, his own brother among them, Akash along with those that remained would betray him. Seeing Dario as nothing more then a stubborn elder, his brothers and sisters would cast him out, by using their divine powers to turn the once proud primordial, into a frail old mortal man.

And so he who was once seen has a divine lord of infinite power and knowledge, was now mortal and casted down into the mortal realm, were Dario would end up in the northern kingdoms of man. As he rose as if awakening from a dream, Dario found himself in A Forest of snow and ice near the Lake of Tun'dra. He would look upon himself in the reflection of the lake and see a shell of his former glory and prime. Not to far off, Dario notice what remained of his most prized great-sword, Ruler's Might. Stuck in place upon a stump, unable to remove it with what little strength he had remaining.

Dario soon found himself in the presence of a group of tribal warriors. They would offer to take him back to their capitol and hear of his tale. Within the capitol of Courtland, Dario would be brought to the Hall of Feast and Tales, were he would be given plenty of meat and mead in order for him to recover his full strength. Among the many northern men and women, were their chieftain, who would pick up on the many different tales of the old god. He along with all others within the hall would laugh at Dario's boasts of being a god, to his anger.
