"What are you?"
I take a deep breath and go into it.
"Well I'm a werewolf."
"No shit." He says
Wow new confidence.
"Alright, well as you now know Kai and I are werewolves and you are well, uh..." I trail off
"I'm what?" He asks
I take a deep breath.
"You're my mate." I say
"I'm your what?" He asks
"My mate." I say
"W-What is that?" He asks
"I'm gonna try to explain this in the least complicated way I can, ok?"
He nods.
"So in our world we don't have the traditional god or goddess. We have our moon goddess. She created us werewolves and other supernatural beings—"
"There are other beings?" He asks
"One thing at a time ok?"
He nods.
"So like I said she created us and for werewolves she practically split us in half. Every werewolves and some other beings have what we call a mate. You find your mate after you turn eighteen, some cases is can be earlier but most of the time it's eighteen. Your mate is meant to be your other half, the other half of your soul essentially. We call it the mate bond." I explain
"And I'm yours!?" He asks in shock
"Yes." I say
"How!? Im n-not a werewolf!" He shrieks
"I know this is all crazy and I sound completely insane telling you this but it's all true as you just saw." I say
"I-I can't believe this." He mumbles
"I know it's a lot to take in that's why I didn't want to tell you about it this soon." I say "I was planning on trying to get closer before I dropped all of this on you."
He stays silent playing with his fingers.
"Say something, please." I say
"This isn't some crazy lie is it? I'm not going totally insane?" He asks looking at me
I walk over to him and crouch in front of him.
"Look at my eyes." I say
He looks down at me as I force my eyes to glow.
He lets out a small gasp and carefully reaches forward touching my cheek. I felt a small buzz on my cheek and it sent a shiver down my spine.
"I don't scare you?" I ask
"Weirdly no, even before I knew about all this you didn't scare me like most people do." He says softly
