*Kenta’s POV*
I watch as Shinigamis gamble and lay on the sand. Trying to get my boredom out of me, I whistled a tune until one of them glared at me. I glared back making them feel scared and go back to their business. I sighed. Now I know what Ryuk feels like when he’s here.
Dad left to go see a shinigami named Sidoh, I wanted to come to but he said to stay. I sit on the sandy floor and started counting until he came back. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...150, 151, what the hell is taking so long?! I stand up and go to the door, but when I took a step forward to it. Both shinigami guards blocked my way.
“You can’t leave.” They said.
I glared at them. “Oh really?”
They glared back until they moved away. I walked past them and the door smirking. I received my full shinigami powers back. Giving me my Death Note, Shinigami eyes, and my wings which are like Ryuk’s wings. I walked and walked until I saw my sister going into a cave. I followed behind slowly and hid behind a rock.
I saw my dad walked in and then walked out. Is this the place called the Shinigami prison? What did Karin do wrong? Wait never mind. She switched her wings and half her Shinigami eyes for L, which was forbidden.
I walked up to the shinigami guards. “Oh, prince Kenta.”
Fancy are we? “I’m here to see my sister.” I said.
“Your father knew you were going to. You have ten minutes.” They said.
I nodded my head and then walked down in the cave. I could hear screams every step I took. None of them were my sister’s. I checked each cell, until I finally found her in the last one.
Her school uniform torn in shreds showing her shoulders and part of her stomach. Her head dropped showing no pain.
I ran over to her and lift her head up. “Karin?! Speak to me!”
“I can hear you, you stupid brother.” She coughed.
“You okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, I just have to stay here for a while.” She said. “You know for punishment.”
I stand up. “I’ll try to think up of a plan to get you out.”
“Okay, but hurry up, these chains are bothersome.” Karin said with a smile.
I smiled back.
*Rain’s POV*
I sit down and play with Near’s toy robot. “This is boring. When is you’re girlfriend getting back?”
L continues to type on his computer. “She’s not my girlfriend, she’s my wife.”
I leaned back in my chair and groaned. “Whatever! It’s been a week. Can’t you text her?”
“Hate cell phones.” L said and then clicks something on his computer.
“Fine, how about you type up a letter on your stupid computer and give it to me, so I can give it to her in the Shinigami realm!”
Oh great I gave L an idea! I feel so smart!
“I’m already doing that.” L said and then the printer prints his letter.
My mouth dropped. Matt, who was sitting next to me, playing his PSP. Looks over and then smirks. “Never underestimate L, he’s too smart for you.”
“Shut up you game freak.” I said.
“Rain, be nice.” L gives me an envelope. “Here.”
I groaned and grabbed the envelope. Walking away cursing at Matt. As I spread my dark purple feather wings, I tuck the envelope in my pocket. Then I started flying in the air like a jet. Only 15 minutes and then I’ll try to find the entrance.
*Kenta’s POV*
I walked and walked until I reached the entrance to the human world. I looked down and see a pair of purple feathered wings circling around. Must be a half breed. I smirked as the half breed tries to find this place. When the half breed turned my way. I saw it was a girl with medium dark blue turning into dark purple hair and purple eyes staring at me.
I sighed, it’s boring here anyways. I fly down to her. She sees me but couldn’t see the entrance.
“Where’d you come from?” she asked glaring at me.
“Shinigami realm, where else, half breed.” I glared at her.
“Wait, you’re a real shinigami?!” she exclaimed.
I smirked. I was surprised she wasn’t scared of my glare. Just like Karin when she met me. “Yeah, so what’s your business here?”
“I don’t need to tell you! Now show me where the Shinigami realm is!” she yelled and throws a punch.
Before she could hit my face, I grabbed her fist without effort.
Her eyes went wide. “Who are you?”
“The Shinigami Prince.” I said.
