"hey j!" you exclaimed warmly, walking up to him- who was sitting on the couch.
jeremy had been doing through a tough time.
your mother dying, then your own dad abandoning you- couldn't be easy.
you... who had been his girlfriend for almost a year, had been spending every day with him- hoping to comfort him.
"jeremy?" you asked sweetly, noticing was staring at the ground.
you watched sadly as tears began to fall to the floor.
"jeremy..." you started, his crying slowly becoming more audible.
you moved swiftly to sit down next to him, immediately embracing him with a hug.
you had never heard jeremy cry before.
"i feel like no one understands me..." he started, sniffing between his words.
"i do." you replied gently, a warm smile flooding your face.
he looked up to you slowly, his eyes widening.
"i know." he replied, snuggling into your hug.
"i love you. you know that." you whispered gently, a smile plastering too his face.
"i love you too, y/n."
