EPILOGUE

Zoe's POV
It's a beautiful, sunny February afternoon, right in the middle of the Australian summer time. I'm spending time in the garden with my beautiful little girl and my amazing boyfriend. Who would have thought this time last year that I could ever be this happy?

"Hi there baby girl" I smile down at my 3 month old baby who is smiling and kicking her chubby little legs

"Its a lovely day, isn't it princess. Just look at all the pretty daisies all over the garden! But you're the prettiest Daisy of them all" Michael coos, tickling her tummy causing her to giggle

"Of course, our little flower. You are beautiful. You look just like your daddy! Just look at your curly blonde hair and your emerald green eyes and your pretty pink lips. Oh, little Daisy, I don't think you could even begin to comprehend how much me and your daddy love you. You are our little angel. You mean everything to us" I grin

"Mummy and daddy are always gonna look after you, you know that, right baby girl?" Michael says, picking up his little girl and holding her in his arms "when you get big enough, daddy is gonna teach you how to play guitar and sing so you can be in a band. Or maybe you can play drums like Uncle Ashton? We're gonna dye your hair lots of pretty colours, but only if mummy lets us. You're gonna go to school and you're gonna be smart and have lots of lovely friends, just like your mummy. Oh, little Daisy. You are perfect. You are our sun, our moon, our stars, our entire universe. You are a beautiful little angel and don't ever forget how much me and mummy love you"

"Michael, you are a perfect father. I love you so much" I say, kissing his cheek then planting a kiss on Daisy's forehead

"I love you so much too. I'm so sorry, my two princesses, but I have to go. Daddy needs to go to an interview with Uncle Cal, Uncle Luke and Uncle Ash. But I'll be back soon. I love you both, so much" Michael says, standing up

"Bye, Mikey. See you later. I love you" I say waving

"To the moon..." Michael says

"And back" I reply as Michael walks away

"Well, little Daisy. What shall we do now? Should we go bake some cakes as a surprise for daddy when he gets home?" I ask my daughter and she giggles

"I take that as a yes. Come on" I say picking Daisy up and carrying her into the house

"Hi Karen" I say waving at Michael's mum

"Hi Zoe. Hi Daisy!" Karen says, kissing Daisy on the cheek

"I wanted to make a cake for Mikey when he came home, as a congratulations on the album" I say

"Thats a good idea. Need any help?" She asks

"Sure. What type should we make?" I ask

"Hmmmmm. I think he would like chocolate. What do you think Daisy, do you think daddy would like a chocolate cake?" Karen says, earning a giggle from Daisy

"Chocolate it is. Come on, lets get you in your bouncy chair so you can watch us" Karen coos, placing Daisy in her bouncer

*30 minutes later*
"Let's get this in the oven so hopefully it will be here for when Michael gets home" I say, placing the cake in the oven

"Good job Zo!" Karen says, high fiving me

"Thank you for helping me. I really hope he likes it. I just thought it would be nice of us to do something to show Mikey how much we love and appreciate him " I say

"Well I think he'll absolutely love it. Now, Daisy. How about we go watch Little Einsteins for a while?" Karen says, picking Daisy up from her little bouncy chair

I am cleaning up in the kitchen, clearing of the worktops and putting all of the dishes and pots into the dishwasher when the phone begins to ring

"Zoe, could you answer the phone please?" Karen shouts through from the other room

"Sure" I say drying my hands with the towel and picking up the phone

"Hello, is this Miss Zoe West?" The voice over the phone asks

"Yes it is" I reply

"I am terribly sorry to have to inform you but your boyfriend Michael Clifford has been in a horrendous car accident...he's in a coma"
