"y/n?" I heard a voice coming from the bigger cave.

"what, Erik?" I pulled the curtains from the swan bed to reveal a wide-eyed Erik staring right at me. He was holding his cape, playing with a tear in the black fabric.

" the cape broke." he paused, " again.

"ugh. you ought to to-" I stopped.

"what?" his head tilted.

"I'm teaching you how to sew."

"no," he complained."please, y/n."

"no, Erik. this happens to much. you need to stop coming to me."

"but-"

"no." I interrupted.

I stood up and grabbed my sewing machine.

"come, I will show you how this works" I walked over to my desk, Erik following me. he clutched his torn cloak and sat down. I showed him the different parts of the machine.

"look, just turn the handle, and the needle moves for you."

I gestured to the handle and he moved to hold it. he moved the cloak around, being careful not to damage it more. I smiled at the happy look on his face when he realized he was doing it correctly. I showed him the different sewing patterns and moved the cloak to pass it to him

"there, you're a natural."

"I'm not." he scoffed.

"yes, you are."

"am not."

"am too."

he chuckled and put the cape on my shoulders.

"there, that looks better."
