Chapter 23

Taylor's POV

"Alright one Cappuccino, one Strawberry latte and two glaze donuts" Alex said as she sat down across from me at the table sliding me my Cappuccino and a glazed donut. Alex decided to take me out for coffee today at our local coffee shop

"Thanks" I said

"So what was with that thing yesterday" she asked sipping her drink

"Kim broke up with" I said she gave me a sympathetic look and I rolled my eyes at her "Don't do that" I said "Do what" she asked "Make that face at me if you do that I'll start Crying and I hate Crying especially Crying in public. I said even though my eyes were already starting to get Watery. She held her hands up in defeat "Ok I won't" she said I looked down at the coffee in my hands.

"So why did you guys end it" she asked "Because I told her I didn't want to have stupid slobbery kids or get married" I said with a sad Sigh

"Why not" she asked

"Come on Alex you know me you know I never wanted kids and when we we're 14 I told you I'd never get married"

"Well we were young I didn't think you actually meant it" she said with a shrug

"Well I did and I'm sticking to that" I said taking a sip out of my drink

"Ok look you love her right?" She asked

"Of course I do" I said in a duh tone

"That's good to be honest at first I thought she was just another notch on your belt"

"Alex really?!"

"What! I'm sorry" she said putting her hands up in defeat

"Then why not move forward in y'all relationship you love her she loves you why not have a bunch of Slobbery babies or if not a bunch at least one"

"You don't get it Alex I used to be the life of the party I was able to have any girl I want whenever I wanted and how I wanted them but then I met Kim and fell in love with her. getting in a relationship a Committed relationship with her was already a big step then and now she wants me to take more of those big steps"

"I just don't know what to do it's only been a day we've been broken up for one day and I already miss her"  I said looking down just then I felt a tear hit my arm and before I knew it I was crying. Alex reached over and grabbed my hand I looked up at her "Taylor your a great Auntie Danny loves you so I see no reason why you wouldn't be an amazing mom and if you love Kim then you should be ready and willing to take these steps with her no matter how big they may be I love you Taylor your my best friend but it's time for you to grow up we're not in high school anymore" she explained I nodded she was right but I just don't think I'm ready.

I Wiped at my face which was filled with tears as I looked at her. "Hey um why was you in Kim's kitchen yesterday morning" I asked she Scratched the back of her neck. "I uh" she said

"You uh what?" I asked with one eyebrow raised

"I was uh visiting Grace" she said nervously rubbing the back of her neck I looked at her confused but that's when it all clicked. Grace coming out of the room in just a rode all Sweaty. "You guys were totally doing the nasty"  I said laughing a bit she blushed a bright red "what no I said I was just visiting"

"Yeah right like I'd believe that lie" I said she rolled her eyes

"I'll tell you one thing though you most definitely gave her a run for her money I mean she was sweating like a lot man you must've have put it down good" I said she hid her face in her hands "oh my god Taylor!" She said "what? It's nothing to be ashamed of" I said with a shrug
