The singularity that The Flash and Scarlet had stopped had saved Central City. But there was a cost — lives were taken, including Ronnie Raymond and Eddie Thawne. Barry Allen blamed himself for everything, because, after all, it was created by an unstable wormhole by the Reverse Flash. Juliet St. James understood everything Barry was going through, and in fact, she was the only one who he didn't push away, even if he was acting a little off (and by off, she means basically being a superhero by himself and not telling her about threats.)
They then convince him that they all belong together, and Team Flash and Scarlet is restored. But now there's a new threat to Central City — a new speedster that goes by the name of Zoom, who comes from Earth Two. The discovery of the multiverse brings about new Metahumans, doppelgängers of people they know, and breaches all over the city.
To Barry, it seems like his battle is never ending. A new villain, a new war to fight, a new detective that seems to be interested in him. He seems to be stuck in forever winter, but there's one ray of sunshine that he knows will be by his side no matter what — and that is, of course, Juliet.
