There was a dance tonight. I'm going but I'm not wearing a dress. Jamal was over at my house helping me pick out what I should wear. Jamal and I used to date but now we are just really close best friends.
"How about this?" I asked laying out an outfit.
"Yes" He said.
It was a black crop top, black ripped jean shorts, fishnets and a pair of jordans. I did my makeup and hair. Jamal ended up going home to get ready for the dance. Suddenly I got a call from Ezekiel.
"I don't know what to wear for the dance. What are you wearing?" He asked me over the phone.
"Something basic. I'm not wearing a dress so it's gonna be basic. I don't know, you look good in what you always wear." I said smiling even though he couldn't see me.
"Send me a picture of what you are wearing" He said hanging up the phone.

"You look good as fuck" I said to Ezekiel smiling. He smirked.

We made it to the dance which turns out it was canceled. Cesar said we could have the dance at Monse's house since her dad is gone. I smiled and we walked to Monse's house.
Jasmine was alllll over Ruby. I started laughing because of how drunk she was. I grabbed a beer for Ezekiel and I. We went into another room to talk and drink. He opened our drinks and we both took a sip.
"How's school so far?" I asked him.
"Boring" He said smiling taking a sip of his beer.
"It will get better. Hopefully next time we have a dance we can actually dance." I said sighing.
"I actually have been getting along with a girl" He said smiling and blushing at the thought of her. I quickly stopped smiling.
"Oh um what's her name?" I asked swallowing sharply.
"Kayla" He said blushing even more. I stood up and chugged my beer. I walked away from him and sat down in the living room. I started smoking a blunt. My anxiety was being a bitch right now and on top of that Ezekiel likes someone. I swear I'm not jealous or anything. I ended up walking home and when I got there I was so drunk and high. I saw The Santos and Oscar sitting outside.
"Jayde, what the hell?" Oscar said standing up.
"I can't fucking deal with this shit anymore" I said going to my room and falling asleep right away.
