(Slytherin Common Room, 11th January 1992)

The moment that Daphne left the dorms she found herself face to face with both Lucretia and Pansy. Both with equally serious looks on their faces.

"Daphne," Pansy began in a serious tone "we need to talk." She added

Daphne maintained her stoicism and raised one of her brows "Oh, what about?" She inquired curiously

"Nott." Lucretia spoke a single word and Daphne's cold blue eyes narrowed

"Not here," Daphne was quick to respond, her eyes subtly gazing around the room "In our dorms." She spoke turning her back and walking towards the girl's dormitory

As she left, both Pansy and Lucretia found themselves looking at each other curiously, before they gave each other a nod and followed after her. Entering the girl's dorms they found Daphne knocking on Tracey's door.

"Daph?" Tracey spoke questioningly upon opening the door before noticing the presence of her two other friends "What's the matter?" She tilted her head curiously having noticed the look on her friend's faces

"Nott." Daphne spoke, repeating Lucretia's words from moments ago

Tracey sighed "Again?" She asked, "What did he do this time?" She added

"Can we come in?" Daphne asked

"Ah-" Tracey stepped out the way "right, best to do this in private."

"What about us?" Another voice questioned from the side drawing their attention

"If there is to be a group discussion, then surely we must be there too." Grace spoke placing her hand on her hip, Ophelia stood at her side "And perhaps we should fetch Corvus and Violet for that matter." She added

"Not Corvus." Daphne spoke with narrowed eyes "It would be best if we not get him involved. He already knows what is going on anyway." Daphne added

Grace frowned briefly before schooling her features "Then perhaps it would be best if we discussed this in Ophelia's room, it does have the best warding after all." She suggested, "You don't mind do you, Ophelia."

"Not at all." Ophelia shook her head slightly "So long as I get to join in on this conversation, all is fair."

Daphne looked at the two for a moment before speaking "Fine, we shall use Ophelia's room." She decided "But this is my problem, don't go bothering Corvus with it." She added with narrowed eyes

Ophelia gave a slow nod of agreement "Follow me." She spoke in a low tone, turning towards her room her lips formed into a mild frown
