Mistakenly Human (Poetry)

Another Activity To Do

Tears streaming down my face,

Your words coming quick and hace.

You never think twice,

So I pay the price.

You played with my heart,

You shot me with a dart

I gave you my all,

And you still made me fall.

I wasnt good enough?

What was I to you?

Another activity to do?

What’s this, a game?

You left as fast as you came.

Am I to blame?

Or are you the one to be in shame?

Play with the girls emotions,

Causing a major commotion.

Is this what you wanted?

To play with my feelings?

And now I'm stuck here dealing

These cards life has thrown at me,

And you’re the one who had to flee.

You gave up on me.

You left it be.

I hate you so much,

But girls only say,

“I hate you”

To guys they love,

I wish there was another way

But there isn’t a way to make you stay

You messed with me,

And I let it be.

Why couldn’t you end it sooner?

Why did you make me attach?

I’m going to have a heart attack.

You left me here.
You left me all alone!

You left me!

Please take me home

Why’d you leave me all alone?

Why did you leave

I CAN HARDLY BREATHE.

I’ll close the door,

And I’ll fall to the floor

You think you know me,

But I ensure you, you don’t

Never again

“Never again”

What did I do that’s such a sin.

You’re holding me up high,

I’m afraid of heights.

But if you let me go

It’s another flight.
