He said we need to have a talk
I didn't know what to make out of that
Didn't think much of it
I knew what he was going to say
Took a minute to survey the way he sat
Told me there was no reason to delay
What he was going to say
It turns out that he way gay
He said he prayed
That I would be okay with this
I felt betrayed
But could never display that
But truly I was happy
That this was the reason he needed to talk
I took him into tight embrace
To show him that I was okay
I could never disobey
The promise we made
To always stick together
And help each other
For now, until forever
