George's POV

I was sitting next to my mother in the car on my way to school. I never took the bike to school anymore. I fell down multiple times when I had to move the handlebar so suddenly that I fell onto the ground or almost cycled into a car. My mother figured it was better to bring me after that happened.

I was making coughing sounds, screamed and hit my knee as I shook my head. 'I'm home around three today, but I wanted to ask-.' I interrupted myself with a high pitched noise and sniffing my nose. 'If I could go to the gym once? I want to gain some muscles.'

'Are you doing this because of the bullies, sweetie? You look perfect, honey.'

'Not only because of that, I'd also like to have some more muscles and maybe it will make me relax-.' I screamed again and hit my leg, making a "brr" sound. 'Relax a bit and get more confident.'

'Of course, as long as you're not letting the bullying get to you, I'll happily bring you after school for a first free trial. If you like it, we can pay for you to go more often since you've never done a sport which we could pay for.'

I nodded, shook my head heavily and hit the window next to me as I winced from the pain.

'Brr, brr, brr, AAHH,' I yelled. I couldn't stop myself and kept hitting my chest as I kicked my leg.

My mum stopped driving and parked on the side of the road. 'Come here, George. Calm down,' she said as she unfastened my seatbelt and pulled me closer.

I constantly shook my whole body and let out high pitched screams as I hit my mother's arm.

'Calm down, George. It's okay.'

'Sorry for hitting you,' I muttered as I screamed again.

'Don't apologise, honey. I know you can't help it, it's fine.'

I was completely going crazy and constantly screamed as I hit myself, the car door and my mother. I started pulling my hair, gritted my teeth as I shook my head while constantly screaming.

'Honey, calm down a little,' my mum whispered as she ran her hand through my hair. 'Calm down, I'm with you.'

I started sniffing, making weird movements with my mouth as I blinked a lot and hit myself again.

My mum reached for her bag and grabbed a small, soft stuffed animal out of it, handing it to me. 'Here, this always calms you down.'

I held onto it and closed my eyes as I softly rubbed the soft skin of the stuffed animal. I felt myself calm down a little bit, only making some soft sounds.

'Good job, honey. I'm proud of you. Are you ready to go to school?'

I nodded slowly, calming down as I held the small stuffed animal tightly. It was a really fluffy bunny and I loved holding it.

My mum started the car and started driving to school as I was just constantly repeating the word "car". She didn't say anything about it and I screamed again, sniffing my nose five times as I held the bunny even tighter.

'Are you calm enough to go to school?' my mother asked as she stopped driving once we arrived at school.

I nodded, gave her the bunny back as I grabbed my bag to walk to school. My mum kissed my cheek and smiled. 'I'll bring some sports clothes after school.'

'Thanks, mum,' I said with a smile as I walked to the entrance of the school.

Before I could open the door, I hit it very hard with my hand and sighed. My hands were bruised because I kept hitting stuff, I really didn't want to anymore.

I almost bursted out into tears, but I bit my lip and walked inside of the school. I lifted my shoulders up high and looked at the floor as I walked to my locker.

I sighed deeply as I felt the urge to hit my locker grow again. I wanted to resist, but hit my locker, sniffing after as I screamed out "locker".

I sighed again, opened the locker to put some books in it. As I grabbed my first book, I threw it on the ground and saw one of my bullies walk up to me.

'If you're throwing your books, I can better keep it. Good luck with detention.'

'Give it back,' I muttered, blinking my eyes as I hit my knuckles against each other. Always when someone bullied me the stress got so high that I got even more tics.

'No, I don't feel like giving it back. You throw them on the ground anyway. Why would I give them to you?'

I gave a high pitched scream, hitting my hand against my chest as I shook my shoulders and turned my head around. 'Book, book, book, locker, book, AAHH.'

The boy stood closer to me as he realised I was having a lot of tics and came so close to me that I ended up hitting his arm.

'I'm sorry,' I muttered. 'I didn't want to-.'

I got cut off by a fist against my cheek and fell down on the floor as I sniffed, cleared my throat and screamed the word "floor".

I climbed back up, trying to grab my books. 'Give it back, please,' I muttered, staring down at my feet.

'Do you think I will give you it back when you just hit me.'

'It was an accident, you know I have Tourette's. I don't hurt you on purpose and you're standing close to me.' I screamed again, hit my leg and imitated a bird sound by whistling.

'You're just psycho, get help. We don't want you here,' he said as he pushed me back on the ground, throwing my book back at me.

He walked off as I crawled up slowly with tears rolling down my face. I wished I could control my tics, but I was working really hard on that. Only my parents seemed to be proud of me and no matter how hard I tried, everyone would always find me weird.
