Ever since I was a young girl, I have always wanted a tattoo. The only problem was, I needed it to mean something. I didn't want to get a random tattoo that had no significance to me, or people I loved. However, today was the day where my wish would finally come true.

It was a boring Saturday afternoon, and Timmy and I had no plans. "Babe, I wanna do something, something like crazy", Timothée says randomly while I was painting my nails. I chuckle at this random remark. "Wanna go to the new coffee shop that just opened down town"?, I say in a suggesting manner. He clears his throat. "No, no, I wanna do something that we will talk about years from now", T says practically whining. I shake my head and sit up, taking his hands in mine. "Sooo, what do you have in mind"? "Maybe we should like, I don't know, get matching couples tats"?, he blurts out. This really gets me laughing. "No, hear me out, it might be really fun, plus I know you've been wanting to get a tattoo with meaning ever since you were a young girl. What better way to do it, then with the love of your life"? Wow. I wasn't expecting him to actually convince me. Point 1 to Timmy. "Fineeeeeeeeee, but nothing too big", I say agreeing. After that, he hugs me tight and kisses me on the upper shoulder. "Now all we have to do is find the right one", he says in the cutest, most concentrated tone ever.

We scroll through Pinterest for hours. We couldn't find anything that peaked our interests . This really disappointed Tim, until we finally found it. It was so simplistic, yet so beautiful. It was 2, matching 4 leafed  clovers. Yes I know it was quite the cliche, but Timmy and I met based on nothing but luck. And that meant it was the perfect amount of symbolism to me.

After we picked it out, it was time for us to head out and get it. I know it's not that big of a deal, but I really wanted to look the part. Timmy threw on a random pair of denim pants and a grey T-shirt. I on the other hand, settled for a basic, pink top, with light-washed jeans,
Sliver jewelry, and chunky sneakers.

Once we got into our vehicle, Tim called and scheduled our appointment. "Hi, hello there, my girlfriend and I would like matching tattoos, is that a possibility? Okay thanks, we're on our way". And with that, he started driving, with the biggest smile I've seen on his face in a while. I found it so adorable that he wanted to get these tattoos. I mean so much to him, that he wants a piece of me, written in ink, on his skin? Just, the thought makes something light up inside me. As we were driving, the radio was playing at a medium volume. I turned it up, and started singing loudly, just to see Timmy's reaction. To my surprise, he started to sing along with me! Before I knew it, Timmy and I were putting on a full performance, with choreography involved. These were the moments that made me realize how much I loved him. Once we arrived, something inside me realized something, that I hadn't even thought of. "Fuck, I forgot, this is gonna hurt like hell"?!, I say after the thought clicked in my mind. "Well maybe, but it'll all be worth it once it's done, plus I'll be right next to you". I smile lightly at his kind words. "Okay, it's now or never, let's do it-". Timmy then runs out of the car door, opens mine fast, grabs my hand, and sprints to the little tattoo shop. I couldn't help but laugh it this.

As we walked in, I noticed nobody was here. Just me, Tim, the tattoo artist, and two needles. After a few minutes of waiting, we show the guy the tattoos we wanted, and he got to work. Timmy volunteered to go first, like the gentleman he is (which I greatly appreciated). I held his other hand while he was getting it done. I could tell he was uncomfortable, but he took it so well. Before we knew it, the nail artist was done. Now it's finally my turn. "Please sit down ma'am, I'll clean these supplies and get started with yours shortly", he says politely. "Thank u, very much", I say shaking a bit. I was way more nervous than I expected. As we were waiting for the guy to come back, Timmy Timmy was gently rubbing my upper back in circles. This helped the anxiety going through my body. And with that, I got my tattoo done. I cried like a baby. Timmy took it so well, I was shocked at how painful mine was. We thanked the man, and tipped him an extra $100 bucks. We loved using our fortunateness for good.

Tim and I walked out of that tattoo place changed for the better. This was the day I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
