Ellie's PoV

My head swirled. My mind couldn't process the information. I didn't wanna believe what Ash said but there he is standing in front of me with big black wings.

I stagger backwards. He grabbed my wrist.

"Don't be scared I swear I won't hurt you" he said pleading.

Wait. Did he sense my fear?

"What the hell are you" I tried to breathe normally.

"I'm a demon" he repeated what he'd said a while ago.

"Are you gonna kill me?"

"Hell no!" He snapped.

"Then what do you wanna do to me?" I yelled trying to pull myself free.

"I wanna hold you in my arms and make you mine" he snapped.

That stopped me.

"What?" maybe I hadn't heard correctly.

He pulled me so hard that I slammed against his chest. Then spoke in that slow husky voice "I love you" he whispered against my ear.

I couldn't take it anymore and burst into tears.

I was crying uncontrollably in his arms while he brushed his hand against my back and held me tight in his embrace.

What the hell is happening with my life?

"Do you mean it?" I swallowed.

"I love you and I mean it more than I've ever meant anything" he murmured.

"But we met 2 days ago" I said.

"I've known you're mine ever since I laid eyes on you"

"How's that possible?"my voice quivered.

"Demons know strange things."

Demon. Each time he repeated that word I got chills against my spine.

"Are you a bad demon?" I asked.

"Like those in stories?" He asked.

I nodded then he shook his head.

"Want a ride?" He said.

I gave him a questioning look.

"I didn't spread my wings for nothing"  he raised his brows.

"Are you gonna carry me?" I asked dazed.

He smirked then lifted me off ground in bridal style.

I wrapped my hand around his neck.

"Ready?"

I nodded.

He smiled and spread his wings wide in a moment we were in the sky.

I buried my face in his chest. I loved his scent but I was scared, of him and of the fact that we were in air.

This is a dream.

My instincts weren't working and neither was my body.

"Will you mind if I call you babe?" Ash asked me.

Ok. Ash wasn't characteristically so sweet. This really is a dream.

"Umm, yeah" I didn't believe anything to be true anyways.

"Look at the moon, I know you love it"

I looked at him. How did he know I loved the moon but then again many people did.

I glanced up. The sky was breathtaking. The stars twinkled and the moon was full and glowed luminously.

"It's so beautiful" I whispered.

"Get ready to see something even better" he replied.

I looked questioningly at him.

He smiled.

"These woods are home to demons" he replied.

Oh.

"Looked at the forest" he demanded.

I looked down. In the twilight the forest was dark and dense. For a moment I looked down waited for something to happen.

Nothing.

"I don't see anything" I spoke without looking at him.

He lifted his arm and swiped it through air, blocking my line of vision for a moment.

In a blink the forest was replaced by buildings, Ancient looking buildings which had spires that threaded through the sky.

The moon was extraordinarily luminous. Things with huge wings lurked in the sky.

"Woah" I gasped "this is insane".

He chuckled.

"What are those?" I asked pointing at winged creatures.

"Demons" he gave a reply.

It's so cool, Zach would say that, I thought.

I want to go back to the real world now.

Hoping to end this strange dream, I closed my eyes hoping for sleep to come back.
