Mavis' pov

It was silent.

Dark.

When I tried to reach for something,

I grabbed nothing but thin air.

Because there was nothing.

I was alone.

"Hello?"

Nothing.

My voice echoed as I tried again.

And again.

And again.

Every movement of mine felt like as if it was in slow motion.

Even my heartbeat was slow.

Really slow....

My voice sounded lifeless

My thoughts even, as I turned around and tried to think about the different things that could have brought me here.

What happened again?

I don't remember...

So I sat down, hugged my knees and buried my face in it.

The darkness devouring my whole body as I just sat there.

I don't feel any of my touches.

Where am I?

'Bakugo, you need to rest. The festival is in a couple of hours and you haven't slept.'

I looked up.

Bakugo?

I don't see him.

I don't see anything.

'Your security measures are shit. Don't tell me what to do if you can't even keep one student save.'

It felt like someone was holding my hand.

Like a ghost of a hand.

So I held my hand up.

But there was nothing holding it.

A door opened.

'Have you found something?'
