Karl phone rings
“Yup, what’s up” Karl said.
“I dropped her to your place at Batangas, it’s time.” Tristan said worriedly
“WHAT!!!! Do you know what you’re doing? Tristan I told you” he was cut because Tristan hangs up, he was about to go to his family but made a u-turn and went back to Batangas. “Tristan, anong ginagawa mo? Kahit kelan talaga pabigla-bigla ka sa desisyon mo.” In his mind the he called Alex immediately.
“Karl, I’m leaving now.”
“What? Can’t you wait for me. Doon ka muna sa room may surprise ako sayo.” Pigil niya dito para wag lumabas ng bahay.”
“Thank you Karl. Pero sa ngayon hindi mo muna ako maaabutan dito sa bahay.” She said
“Can’t you wait for me, Alex. Please.”
“But after this I’ll call you again, we need to see each other and talk ok.”
“Alex, wait”
“Sige na, aalis na ako bago pa ako gabihin, wait someone’s knocking at the door.” She hurriedly said
“Alex!” pahabol nitong sabi pero naputol na ang linya
“Ok, bye Karl” bid him goodbye.
END OF FLASHBACK
“Dammit, Karl bilisan mo. Bakit kasi ngayon pa nagkatrafik? Pwede namang bukas o sa isang araw bakit ngayon pa?” sabi ni Karl sa sarili na nakatingin sa daan na puno ng sasakyan na parang parking lot na ang dating. “You’ll be facing her.” Binalak niyang bumwelta pero naharang siya ng isang kotse sa likod. “Sh*t” He was no way out.
His phone rings and answered it quickly.
“Di ba sabi ko sayo tell me kapag itutuloy mo na lahat ng plano mo? Then why do this? Ni hindi pa siya handa?”
“She has to face her. Karl one way or another magkikita pa din sila.”
“You don’t know how she feels for her. I was with her almost her half of her life kaya alam ko kung gaano siya kagalit.”
“You were with her, pero ako na ang present niya and future niya. I just want her to feel complete.”
“You want her to feel complete. Pero hindi mo kinonsider ang feelings ni Cecile Tua kapag nireject siya ng sarili niyang anak. C’mon Tristan you’re just thinking of your self. Para tuluyan ng maging masaya, ang sarili mo”
Napaisip si Tristan sa sinabi ni Karl. Oo in a way naging selfish siya, naisip niya. “I’ll be driving back to Batangas.”
“Tristan, I know you’re just thinking of doing the right thing. Pero minsan isipin mo din yung mga tao sa paligid mo.”
“See you in Batangas” he hungs up the phone.
At Batangas
“Alexandra Tua? I’m Cecile Tua” said by the woman standing in front of her
She was shaking in anger when she heard the name. Pero pinipigil niya ang nararamdaman na galit sa taong nasa harapan niya.
