I thought it was just turbulence. Man, I hate those. The plane up above the clouds tipped down, sinking us in the dark mist. It tilted sideways, and that was when I knew something was happening. Red lights flashed everywhere, and screams filled my ears. I dropped my book and tightly grabbed the seat in front of me, tears swelling I my eyes just as the plane's wing flung off. I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing came out. Panicked, I searched the plane for anything that could keep me alive, then I saw it. A parachute. I yanked it out of the compartment, and started strapping the backpack. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned back, expecting to see a persons terrified eyes, pleading for the safety equipment. All I saw was the pilot, which was a girl. Her hair was brown, but at the end it faded into a dark purple. I looked into her eyes, and one was a light shade of violet, and the other was a gentle lime green. She looked at me with a sad, but gentle expression. Everything around me started to muffle and blur, except her. She grabbed my shoulder, and told me with a solemn voice "Tell him I've not died yet-"
