"What do you mean i can't go out today?" I asked my dad in confusion. It's valentines day! I have plans with Laine..

"You can't." He said in a serious tone.

I groan in annoyance.

"But why?! Today is Sunday there's no work!" I argued while glaring at my dad.

I am quite nervous, does he know something?

"Honey, if i said no. It's a no." He said still not looking at me.

"But I'm an adult! I can do what i want!" I shouted.

"You're living under my roof." He said still not looking at me

"Mom!" I shouted asking for help. She sighed as she walk towards me.

"Just do what he says. He's not in the mood." Mom said while rubbing my shoulders. Well damn what a happy valentines for me.

I went in my room and locked the door. Not in the mood to talk to anyone i encounters.

Until my phone vibrated.

Oh no.. I don't want to imagine her face when i say i can't go.

Okay i wonder what she's planning.

It was 1pm

It's been hours since i locked my self in my room. I'm watching Netflix to keep myself busy.

When i suddenly felt thirsty so i went out, ran downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed my self a water to drink.

I was about to go back when i heard my dad talking to someone on the phone.

"I don't know, i need more evidence." What the hell.. "I'm asking you to take a look out" Who the heck is he talking to? "I don't care! I will fire you if you don't do it, you don't want that do you?" Okay is my dad threatening someone? "Good, report to me daily. And if i figure out you're betraying me, say goodbye to your job."

I didn't want to listen further because I'm trembling of fear.

What if he's asking someone to take a look out of me and Laine? Did he figure out already? Oh god.

What do i do, what do i do..

I don't want him to do something to Laine or else i can hurt my own father.
