Jake ran towards the ice rink.  He patted his chest which was sore from running earlier .

He supported his weight by placing his arm on the wall .
"Gosh , Jake Sim ! Why are you so nervous ?"

The boy takes a deep breath and exhaled it . He looked around the ice rink, looking for someone completely invisible .
"Where the heck is him ?"

Upon realizing all ice skater figure members were still training, Jake walked over and sat on an empty bench in front of the rink .

Jake stared at the blue sky, luckily this shady tree blocked the sunlight from roasting his skin .

"She is so cute"
Jake played with the candy that Hanee gave him earlier .

"but I'm ashamed of myself "
Jake banged his head on the table harshly. Sigh was released from his mouth when remembering the unpredictable accident .

He had been a classmate with Hanee for a long time but this was his first time talking to the girl.  Previously, he only spoke to Hanee while performing his duties as class president .

"Pull yourself up , Jake"

Hanee stufffed a spoonful ice cream inside her mouth as she walked merrily.  "Wow, a hot day like this is perfect for eating ice cream"

"I want to be a successful woman and buy all the flavors of ice cream "
She laughs at herself .

Hanee sucks the small wooden spoon . Then , her eyes glued to someone .
"Who's the madman banging his head on the table?"

Approaching the male , Hanee beamed happily and greeted him .
"Smarty boy ! It's you"

"Smarty boy , who ? Me ?"
Jake lifted his face from the table. His eyes met Hanee's.

He gulped down his saliva when looking straight into Hanee's brown orbs.

"Yes you . You're the real life Newton"
Hanee sat in front of Jake without being asked .

" I thought you have something to settle down ?"

Hanee hummed as response ,
"Already done . It's not taking much time"

"Don't you think it's hot ?"
Hanee fanned herself with her palms .

Jake quickly agreed , can't deny that clearly proven fact . The male took off his heavy blazer .

Hanee giggles looking at Jake who is sweating.  Her hand immediately searched for something in the bag .

Jake looks curiously at Hanee ,
"what are you looking for? "

"Something to protect you from that bad sunlight"
She said shortly .

Jake frowned upon hearing her answers .

"Found it !"
Hanee took out a hat origami that she folded during the break earlier .

The girl walks happily to Jake and placed the origami on top of his head .

Jake was froze when Hanee suddenly approached him.  He could feel his heart beating at an abnormal rate .

Jake took the chance to admire her from close . She has a pair of cute eyes that he somehow drown in it .

"Suits you !"
Hanee beamed happily .

Jake touched his head and grinned "did you give it to me?"

"Of course . Your skin is so beautiful. Don't let the sunlight ruin it "
Hanee said while zipping her bag back .

Even it looks childish, it’s Hanee’s unique charm that makes Jake attracted to her .

Hanee has a unique way of making people smile.  To Jake, Hanee is a kind and pure -hearted person even of her  childish act .

"If the sun hurts your skin, tell me . I will ascend into space and destroy it for you "
Hanee acted like a flying superman .

Jake chuckles , he messed with Hanee's hair .
"Thank you , Hanee "

Sunghoon went out of the center of the ice rink while carrying his bag along .

"Oh , it's Jake . But , who is she ?"
To kill his curiousity , Sunghoon walks approaching them .

"Jake, sorry if you waited so long"

Hanee turned her head to the back and her eyes met Sunghoon's . When she saw Sunghoon's face, Hanee choked on her own saliva .

"Hanee , are you okay ?"
Jake hurriedly patted her back , helping her to endure the pain .

"Hanee ? That origami girl in our class? "

"I have my own nam—"
Hanee coughed again .

"Don't rush to talk! "
Jake scolded Hanee as his hand softly patting her back .

Hanee let out a sigh ,
"Thank you Jake"

"Hey , origami girl . What are you doing with him ?"
Sunghoon nudges Hanee's hand .

He send Jake some weird and michievious grins .

"Just stop by"

Hanee quickly takes her bag and slung it over her shoulders .

"Where are you going ?"
Jake asked Hanee who suddenly seems rushed .

Hanee looks at Sunghoon and bit her bottom lips .
"Do you hear that ?"

Both males look at each other in confusion after what Hanee said .
"Hear what ?"

"My dog ​​is calling me, i will go first !! "

Jake frowned , he hold Hanee's arm .
"You have a dog ?"

"No !"

"Then , w—"

"I will go first !!!" Hanee push Jake away from her .

Hanee immediately run away , she forgot to take her ice cream .

"Wait , Hanee ! Your ice cream !"
But it's too late , Hanee already far away from them .

Sunghoon pick up the ice cream and check inside .
"She ate it all . Only the cup left"

He looks at Hanee's direction ,
"What's up with her ? She's a weirdo"

"I know and that's what make her unique"
Jake exclaimed .

Sunghoon frowned upon hearing that kind of words from Jake .
"You—"

"Wait , what's on top of your head ?"

Blinking his eyes several time , Jake realized the origami hat that Hanee gave him was still on his head .

Sunghoon snatches the origami from Jake's head and began to scan it .

"are high school students still playing with origami? "

Jake's eyes widened when Sunghoon opened one of the origami folds .

He snatches it from Sunghoon ,
"don't ruin it, it's precious "

"What ?"
Sunghoon frowned .

"It's just a piece of paper"

Jake scoffed ,
" precious paper"

"see how it is folded with diligence and precision"

"I won't walk next to you if you want to wear that thing "
Sunghoon threatened .

Jake stuck out his tongue , he happily put the hat back on head .
"I don't care"

"Jake , you're crazy"
