"Its about time, sleepyhead." James said, staring at me. I slowly lifted up my head, from his shoulder. I noticed that we were still here, listening to "Change My Mind" since he put it on repeat.
"Hey, can I ask you a question." James said as he paused the music.
"Sure." I smiled.
"How do you know when you love someone?" My smile disappeared. My heart stopped pumping. My body felt like it was gonna burn. I looked at James and he looked like he regret asking that question. Gosh, you can feel the tension between us right now.
"Umm. . .well whenever you see them you get butterflies in your stomach, and you act really weird around them. But yet again, when your with them you be yourself. Like that person, brings out the real person inside you." I said nervously.
"Oh ok, thanks."
"Why?" I asked.
"No reason, just asking." he shrugged.
I nodded. I wanted to know why he asked that question. I mean it wasn't really normal to pop that question.
"We should go." James nudged me.
"Oh...um..yeah." I agreed.
*~*~*~*~*~*
"You okay?" James asked.
"Y-Yeah." I said. We were at my door, and James walked me in.
"Okay, see ya later, get some sleep, okay?" he said holding my shoulders rubbing small circles around them. I couldn't control my breathing so I nodded. "Feel better." he added, as he pulled me into a hug.
We hugged before, but this hug sent chils down my back. I felt like I couldn't stand. He smiled, and waved by as he walked to his car.
I waved back, and quickly unlocked the door. I went straight up to my bed, I didn't even care about dinner. A lot was on my mind. Why did that question bother me? Does James like someone? Why did I feel weird when he asked me that? So much questions were going through my mind. Then, I knew the answer..
I was slowly falling in love with James Logan.
