The professor said I should start whenever I wanted to, and as much as possible, I wanted to end it fast. I closed my eyes and tried what I did earlier; calming myself and concentrating, bringing my consciousness close to nature but… nothing. I felt empty.

I felt something warm touched my heart, however, when my gaze roams to the whole room, some of our classmates are secretly laughing at me. Eyes mixed with mockery and those arrogant smirks on their face shows I've become a clown on their sight again.

Then, my eyes found Samara, the transferee, who's watching me with those hawk eyes that she has. Her ocean eyes shone brightly than anyone, however, her expression is kind of odd; dark and annoyed, while watching me struggle in front.

I sighed and nervously looked at our professor. Our impatient professor. My hands are slightly trembling that I only noticed them, the reason why I slowly put them behind the pot, however, my eyes found something beneath the pot!

A white fucking thorn!

“Miss Sy'yski, you couldn't do it?”

“That simple trick? Even a kid could do that piece of shit!”

Transferring my gaze to those angry green orbs from our impatient Professor, shock replaced her expression as soon my eyes stopped at her. Averting my gaze to found Samara, I speak with truthfulness and the words I'll be asserting shall be nothing but the truth.

“Something's stopping my tree from blooming.”

“Are you blaming me?” Nanginginig nitong sabi.

“Everything's allowed since you didn't say any rules aside from letting it bloom, Madame?” magalang kong tanong at hindi ko alam kung bakit sunod-sunod itong tumango.

I have no choice.

As lowering my eyes, my hands found the necklace I wore for today as part of my fashion, before pulling it out from my Black Irregular Zip Grenadine shirt with a red cravat on my neck, which welcomed me a glossy silver cross necklace with a ruby in the middle, shining in crimson that will soon be tainted with blood.

As I placed the sharpest part— the top of its necklace to my opened palm and slowly push it to my skin, the pain was recognized by my parietal lobe, making my face turned sour a little yet quickly composed.

“Miss Sy'yski, this is too much—” Hindi ko pinansin ang guro at nagconcentrate sa ginagawa.

From my injury, thick crimson liquid started dripping towards the pot that suddenly, my tree started drinking.

I know it.

It became part of me from what I did earlier.
