Addison's POV

Addison gazed up at the blue sky dotted with clouds and took a deep breath. She tried to ignore the large stadium she had been taken into. It was more like the ancient Colosseum Addison had studied in school.

It had hundreds of guardian people seated around Addison in a large circle. They all looked down at her from above. A song of some sort played around the stadium.

Even alien god guardians needed their music, Addison supposed. Except this music was absolutly the worst thing she had ever heard. It was like whale songs, screeching cats, and screams of human pain mixed into one.

Addison lowered her gaze at the royal box which was decked out in all sorts of comfortable looking things.

Queen Adaline sat on a large thrown with Abnar standing next to her. A servant Addison guessed was holding a plater of some blue bread thing next to the queen.

Next to the servant and a little while away was Prince Adrian in a similar but smaller thrown. Two pretty girls sat on the chair's arms next to him adoring the very ground he walked on. Adrian didn't seem very excited with the girls and was focused on drinking out of his orange and red crystal cup.

Addison felt very warm. She didn't know if that was from the nerves or if the stadium was hotter than the rest of the palace. If they were still in the palace.

Addison wore a tank topped tunic. It was made of scratchy and thick tan colored material. It had white fur outlining and accenting the shirt.

Her pants were nothing but leggings in the same material. They ran down her legs until the mid calf.

She wasn't wearing any shoes. Her feet were right in the cream colored sand. She had a sort of anklet made out of thin strips of the shirt and pants fabric. It was weaved into a complicated braid and had a cold charm on it.

Addison still had her moonstone neckless on, thank goodness. It still flickered and stood out against the light tan color of the shirt.

Her hair was weaved back into another braid and her baby hairs contained by a leather headband which traveled around her hair.

The scary part was that Addison didn't remember how she got on those clothes or how she got there. The last thing she remembered was that horrible news...

Which Addison was not going to think about. He deserved better than a quick thought in the midst of worries.

"Guardians!" Queen Adaline's voice boomed throughout the stadium. "Welcome to the Brobdingnagian!"

The statuim erupted. People jumped up and started screaming and clapping as if their lives depended on it.

"Our first match of the day: Werewolf verses..." Queen Adaline took a pause. "Human!"

The people in the stands stomped their feet against the seats as a gate opened slowly.

A small figure walked out. They were wearing armor and had two thin swords. They walked expertly to the middle and Addison caught a glimpse of a girls face.

She had dark skin with dark blue eyes. She waved to the crowd before looking at the royal box and doing a strange gesture.

She raised her right hand above her shoulder  with her arm straight. She moved her hand in two quick circles ending with a flourish of her fingers out like she was holding a small ball.

Then she bent her right arm over her stomach and her left arm bent behind her back as she bowed.

It seemed like this wasn't the first battle the girl had been to.

Addison suddenly realized how underdressed she was. The other girl had armor and two swords while Addison had no armor and defiantly no weapon.

She was going to die.

Addison had never been more sure of anything. Even when she had the moonstone sickness, she didn't feel the same amount of dread.

Then the girl turned to Addison. Her blue eyes narrowed at Addison. She tossed her swords in the air and caught them both perfectly. Then she charged.

Zed's POV

Zed was all ready to go. Eliza had made him wait until late morning on Wednesday. This way, most people would be at work and school. Those people would then be less of a temptation for Zed.

"You sure you want to do this?" Eliza asked.

"You agreed to it." Zed reminded. "Plus it was your plan."

"I know." Eliza said. "But the more I think about it, the more ways I imagine it going wrong."

"That's how you and me are different." Zed said. "I don't think." He winked at Eliza.

Eliza rolled her eyes. "You know this will tarnish your reputation right? For whatever reason we did it for, the humans will still see you as a threat."

"I know." Zed said suddenly serious. "But my people come first. Not how the humans view me."

Eliza starred at him. "Good." She diverted her eyes from Zed. "Good. Alright then. Good luck. Remember what you are doing."

"I will." Zed said.

"And it will be harder to remember, the longer you stay out of your Z-band."

"Yup."

Eliza sighed. "Okay you're good to go."

Zed ripped off his Z-band and threw it on the floor.

He stood feeling the zombie take over. He roared as he shook to feel energy coursing through his body.

He only needed one thing. Brains.

He moved closed to a brain as he imagined how nice it would be to sink his teeth right into-

"Zed. Za zumuns!" The brain said.

Wait that wasn't a brain. That had no brain. Need to find brain.

"Za zumun towz!" The not-brain said.

The human town. Brains seemed to grow there. He would find brain there.

He dragged down to the street as a bright light made him pause before continuing.

He stopped in front of a house. A special non-brain lived there. He roared at the house. Nothing roared back.

The non-brain wasn't home maybe. He continued after another short pause. Brains were needed.

He went into overdrive as he smelled all the brains. They were getting closer.

He dragged towards brains faster. He moaned to think about how long it had been since he had brain.

Brains were all around him. He lunged toward one and felt pain as he fell to the ground.

He got up again. He would do anything for brains. Pain would not stop him from getting to brains.

He felt a little pain in his arm as the brains seemed to spin around him. The scent of brains faded to black and he fell to the ground once again.

Hi everyone!

If you are wondering why the English is not correct during Zed's zombied out scene, it is because zombies do not know English so this is the way I tried to translate that to my readers.

Another fun fact: Brobdingnagian is a real word meaning gigantic.
