22. Just Keep Breathing

"Appa! We're going on an outing!", Jimin exclaims, excitement rushing through his whole body. Jungkook raises an eyebrow. "Suddenly?", he asks. "Yeah. I thought we should have a day out. It'd be nice", Jimin lies easily.

Jungkook looks at him skeptically for a few seconds before sighing. He can never say no to his angel. "Alright, then. I'll cancel my meetings for today. Where do you wanna go?", he asks.

Jimin pretends to think for a while before answering. "Why don't we go to Lotte World? I've only been there once when I was eleven", he suggests, pouting a little. JungKook doesn't look too convinced but he agrees.

"Go, get ready, Mimi. We're going to The Lotte World!"

"No".

"Why not?", Taehyung whines, stomping his feet like a child. "Because I have a deadline, TaeTae. I can't waste my time", Namjoon replies, eyes glued on the laptop in front of him.

Taehyung huffs. "I see how it is. Work is more important than me", he says and plops down on the couch, sulking. Honestly, he's just worried their plan flopping before it even starts.

"That guilt-tripping is not going to work on me", Namjoon says, snorting at how ridiculous his son is being. Taehyung frowns. Then, light bulb turns on in his head.

"I just thought we could spend some time together before I have to share you with Seokjin-ssi", he mumbles, making his voice shiver for extra effect. It works exactly how he had wanted it to.

Namjoon stops typing and looks at him with concern. Then, he bites his lip and says something he knows he'd regret later.

"Fine, honey. Dress up".

"Are you sure this is a good idea? You know I'm afraid of heights", Namjoon says, looking at the gate of the gigantic capsule that is the sky shuttle. He really is contemplating just going back down.

"Dad, I'm afraid of heights, too, remember? We just gotta give it a try. It'll be fine!", Taehyung insists. Namjoon gives him an unsure look but steps inside anyway, trying to calm himself down.

Unbeknownst to him, Taehyung is not following behind him. Instead, he's standing outside the shuttle, hoping that his and Jimin's plan will work this time.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is trying to get Jimin to step into the Sky shuttle. "No! I'm scared of heights! And the floor is transparent!", Jimin shrieks. Jungkook gives him a look. "I'll be here, baby. It's okay", he tries assuring.

Jimin just shakes his head repeatedly. Jungkook sighs. "Okay, then let's go on another ride", he smiles sweetly. Jimin's eyes widen momentarily.

"No, no! Go without me. I'll be okay!", he exclaims. Jungkook shakes his head firmly. "No. I'm not going without you", he says. Jimin pouts. "Dad, just go. It's okay. I'd be sad if you don't get to have fun because of me", he drawls sadly.

Jungkook sighs heavily. "Okay, if you insist. But I'll buy you ice-cream later. So don't be too sad, yeah?", he ruffles the younger's hair and turns around to step into the shuttle.
