Ariel's P.O.V.
I look up only to see Arjun staring me down.
I stand up.
“Watch where are you going ?" He said in cold deep voice.
If it's some other time, I will definitely be a scared. But Aunt Mary's voice is swirling in my mind.
They are not bad.
They are sweethearts.
They are Carving for Love.
I look at his eyes. His eyes are just like bubby's eyes. But I see something else in his eyes. His eyes are empty. He is so sad. It's look like, the cold, arrogant and rude face is just a mask to cover sad face. I don't know, from when I was staring at him, because I came to reality when I heard his voice.
“Are you even listening, what I am saying ?"
“u-uh u-um-m s-sorry. W-what did you said ?" I look anywhere but him.
He looked at me weirdly.
“I was sayi-" His sentence cuts in mid by Bubby.
“What is happening here ?" Bubby said glaring at Arjun.
Without telling anything, Arjun left from there.
“Are you ok ? Did he hurt you ?" He asked concern lacing from his face and voice.
I chuckled at his caring nature.
“Didn't I told you, I am more than perfect and fine." I said to him.
He relaxed.
“Let's go and sleep. I am tired" He said and keep his hand around my shoulders.
We both go to his room and cuddle with each other.
We are laying on his bed but can't sleep. We were awake.
“What happened, Ari ?" He said softly, eyes closed still stroking my hair.
“nothing" I muttered in his chest.
“Lier" He said pouting, still eyes closed.
I giggled.
“I am just thinking, Rii"
“About ?"
“About Arjun and Aarav" I said to him.
He opened his eyes now. And looked at me.
“Why ? Did something happened ?" He asked me worriedly.
“Did you know who gave us dinner ?" I asked him.
“Yess, Mary. Didn't you told me ?" He asked me confused.
“Yess, because I thought that" I said to him.
He looked at me confused.
“What exactly happened, Ari ? Tell me clearly " He said curious.
“Actually, when we were watching movie, I heard a knock. When I opened door, I found no one but two plate with food on it was placed on the floor outside of our room. I thought , Mary Aunty would be the one who kept it there and as she didn't want to disturb us, that's why she didn't come in room and left from there." I said to him.
“Ohh, So Mary kept it there ?" He asked me.
“No, when I said ‘Thanks' to her for our dinner. She said she didn't know anything about that. And she also said Arjun is the one, who kept it there." I explained him.
