Do you notice how Mary comes to the Garden before daybreak? Sophia's natural state is the darkness, the place of conception and origination. Magdalene represents the Wisdom we embody, that soul-state gnosis that seeks the Light, aspires to it, because it is the Presence of Light that confirms and affirms her own being. Inseparable, indivisible, lovers. The stone rolled across the mouth of the tomb does not quench or seal in this Light because the darkness of the grave will only magnify it! Like a candle that crosses the threshold of a cave from the daylight. Suddenly its vitality is even more tangible.
