Alex's POV
I made my way down the porch and strolled to Winters as she was waiting outside her car with her hands in her pockets. I swear her look right now is making me think twice about telling her not to fall in love with me especially what she was wearing at the moment a grey turtleneck, grey pants, black oxford shoes and scotched scarf with a black coat to accompany her outfit. The moment she saw me her face broke into a beautiful smile I've ever seen, it made my heart start racing, she met me halfway and came and gave a warm hug at this moment I felt like crying but I had to get a hold on myself.

"Evening princesse, you okay?"
"Yeah I'm good, how are you?"
"I'm good just exhausted from working from home and the twins haven't been making catch a break" I couldn't help but giggle at the thought of the twins not giving Winter a break.
"How are they? I already miss them"
"They asked about yesterday morning about where you were I think Sage has gotten attached you already"
"Aww I'll make sure to see them before I go to Switzerland for a business trip"
"Oh? when are you going? And I didn't know you were going"
"In three days and I'll be back in three weeks, sorry I was planning on telling you tonight "
"Its cool well since I only have 72 hours with you until you come back from your business trip I wanna make the most of it"
"Oh really? what do you have in mind?" the thought of this might the last time we get to be flirty and sweet with each other makes my chest tighten.

"Hold on I have something to give you" she gave me a quick peck and jogged to passenger seat and lifted a bonquet of roses, the action almost made want to cry why was I feeling emotional around Winter tonight? I take the flowers and give her a loving kiss.
"Thank you, they are beautiful I love them come on lets go inside" I grab her hand and lead her inside my house, the moment I enter I feel the comfortable warmth around my house which made me instantly smile as made my way to the kitchen and put these in a vase full of water. Winter follows me to the kitchen slowly whilst admiring the interior design of the house
