Winter's POV

After having lunch and my dessert in Alex's office I decided to cancel all my meeting and go visit my sister and her family since grandfather's birthday is only two nights away. I soon arrive at Luna's home and I must say her taste in finer yet comfortable things never seizes to amaze me to be honest, as if on cue as I got out of my car I saw a smiling Gina and her kids running to me I'll never get bored of seeing Luna's family they're so much fun and nice to hang out with. I lift up the twins in a big bear hug just enough to not crush them as I smothered they're faces with kisses, I sauntered to where Gina was and placed the twins down and gave her a loving hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Gina its been way too long, how have you been?"

"I've been good and how have you been you seem to be glowing is there a special person in your life?" I lightly laughed at Gina's comment aside from Jax being my only friend, I got to know Gina when her and Luna started dating in their last year of high school which was the most cute thing ever and during those years of knowing her we became really close that she was also like my sister and friend.

"Something like that but we only started until recently but we're not dating, just getting to know each other" she gave me a knowing smile as we walked inside her house.

"Oh you and I both know you're already whipped and don't even dare try to deny it" I couldn't help but laugh aloud at her comment she was partially right but I'll let her have it.

"Oh you bet I saw them at my restaurant few days back and the look in her eyes was something entirely different it was loving" I quickly whipped my head to see where the voice came from and it was Luna

"Wow thanks for sharing sis" I walked over and gave her a big bear hug.

"You're welcome now place me down you're acting like you didn't see me a few days ago!" I placed her down and I couldn't stop and vice versa

"Can you blame me? You're my favourite and you love it regardless" she rolled her eyes amusedly. She led me to their living room and we talked about grandfather's party among other things

"So confirm that you'll be taking the twins after granddad's birthday party since you promised"

"Of course I never go back on my word, you know that but only for a week I don't like working from for long periods of time so two weeks is non-negotiable" Luna gave a defeated sigh because she knows she won't win the argument.

"Fine we really need that alone time with my sweet pie" Gina flushed at the sudden pet name that I couldn't help but giggle at them, they've been together for long time and still love each other the same way without getting bored of each which is something I'm very envious of when I do get married at some point in my life.

"So how's Alex? I hope you're not wasting her time and vice versa" the mention of her name made me feel a funny and fuzzy feeling in my stomach.

"She's alright I had lunch with her today and it was really good-" before I could my sentence my phone rang and it was from home, Simon doesn't usually call unless its really urgent.

"Simon? Is everything alright? You don't usually call unless its urgent"

"Good day young miss, everything is quite alright but you have a visitor who's here to see you"

"Who is it? It better not be him I hope" at that moment Luna knew who I was talking about.

"No its not him but rather your grandfather and mother" I felt my eyes widen at Simon's words, what was grandad doing there? and with her daughter no less. I calmed my nerves a little bit and spoke into the phone.
