He was a vampire, who only had one simple wish: to achieve freedom and to gain back the life he had lost.
And she was only a young girl in love for the first time, who was just too kind that day.
A short and completed romance-cum-vampire story in which the significant question of how much one will do for love will be questioned between both parties.
The characters were [...] both memorable individuals from the moment they were introduced. It's a wonder how I never found this story on my own. [...] Such a damn tearjerker, too.
I really really enjoyed it. It's like a Shakespearean tragedy, as it only gives you a small glance of their lives, and then throws in the brutal ending. I can't say a lot, other than the writing style and descriptions were fantastic. Usually vampire stories with bits of romance throw in are cheesy and not all that good, but this was incredible.
