Mind Over Matter
Years after an almost fatal accident, sixteen-year-old Elle Walton experiences dreams that bring her closer to the night of her near undoing. Her mother's rash decisions, and the mention of an unknown aunt, land Elle in the town of Hillbrooke for the summer. Desolate and run-down, the town is the last thing that could clear Elle's conscience. Though when the dreams grow between the lines of fantasy and reality, Elle finds herself face to face with her forgotten past. It may be the odd breeze on the edge of town playing tricks with her, or something bigger than a new neighborhood of unlikely friends and deep-rooted secrets.
Though, possibly, it could just all be in her mind.
