So no...u didn't make it look or sound as if dark skin is considered dirt. We get, I get your point in your characters position.... It's got nothing to do with color.. It just feeling dirty... I mean, no body likes dirt on them

I understood it as a euphemism of how their actions made her feel filthy, unable to get clean. It's not an uncommon sentiment amongst rape victims. Never came across to me as any kind of indication of her skin tone.

No. I being a light skinned African most times wish my tone was a little darker... Because darker skin rarely suffers from acne and does not scar as much as lighter skin
