Mingyu's cheeks felt warmer than that time he accidentally blurted out that Chan's clothes looked like rags, only to find out that his grandmother had sent it to him. The embarrassment wouldn't leave him as the nanoseconds passed by, the silence becoming much more awkward as she just stared between him and Soonyoung plus Wonwoo and Junhui who were looming behind him. After she had finished blinking, she began retreating. Slowly, very slowly, eyes never leaving Mingyu. And then she turned and high tailed out of the restaurant. "Oh my God," Mingyu breathed out. "She's never going to come back here!" He wailed at Wonwoo, as the awkward male just patted his back robotically. "It wasn't that bad." Wonwoo tried to console him and as much as Mingyu appreciated his efforts, he was sure that she definitely wouldn't come back. "I blew out chopsticks at her!" Mingyu cried out, arms waving up dramatically, before stomping off to sulk in the stock room. [I really enjoy writing food!au (note my previous mingyu oneshot.)]
