When I was in hospital I was roomed with a schizophrenic, she was the most gentle person I have ever met. There's a boy with a long deep slit across his neck that tells the funniest jokes, a girl who never speaks a word draws the most beautiful pictures, a boy who shakes with anxiety can hold the most intelligent conversations. Even the girl who screams in her sleep and picks at her skin has the heart the size of an ocean. A boy with bulimia joins the support group because he says his parents can't deal with all of the stress he is causing them but I think deep down he's a very nice person. The point is we're not as weird or scary as everyone makes us out to be.
