Gate: A Dungeon or Rift that appears in random places and teleport you somewhere completely different when entering them. They hold both treasures and monsters. Hunters enter rifts to clear them out of all threats and take the spoils, since if a Gate stays open for too long, it will start to leak monsters out of it. This is called a Gate Break. There are some Gates that don't "Break" even though they've stayed open for so long. These are called Everlasting Gates. Once the Boss Monster in a Everlasting Gate dies, the Gate can be travelled through as Hunters please. They stay open even after being cleared and never cause Gate Breaks, while also summoning monsters and treasures infinitely for Hunters in Training. ...or so we thought... I reincarnated in an Everlasting Gate. A gigantic one at that. I thought I had died in here, but it turns out I'm a Lizardman?! I can't escape and I have to live in here for the rest of my life... might as well get used to it! Make the best out of my unwieldy situation!
