Dylan is a boy that typically keeps to himself until he spots his absent father mediating between federal agents and a family with strange hair colors during a coastal bike ride. That chance encounter leads him to approach Marin and Nerissa, the daughters of that family, at the middle school all three attend. What starts as begrudging acceptance of his presence becomes friendship and, as they continue through high school, romantic feelings. But as Dylan quickly learns, nothing is ever as it seems. The question is, can he accept the truth before him, or will he turn away from the love that grew over the years?
