The world has been over run by the undead, not just zombies, but vampires and other monsters. Every human has had to vacate underground to keep themselves safe. The new government is more accepting than the old one and love is more forgiving, but life and humanity are in trouble and only a few people have the ability to find the cure.

This story is inspired by and based off of Hollywood Undead's song "Bullet". I wrote it about 4 years ago, but it's still one of my favorite short stories I've ever written.

As a suitcase rattles down the sidewalk I start to relax. The smokey scent of night time fills my lungs and I exhale slowly. I rest my head on my hands. I'm always up late. It helps me sort out my thoughts, and I feel calm. Usually though, I don't have anyone to talk to. So when a window on the other side of the street opens, and I suddenly I gain a companion, it's hard to adjust at first. As I get to know this person better, nights seem to get shorter and I long for a glance in daytime.

A young man, Carter Johnson or CJ, is leaving his home town to pursue further education, a successful career and maybe even... love? He will soon discover a new job, with some slight twists. His love life will have a few bumps and turns, and coupled with the fact that his job will bring a fog of mysteriousness over his identity to the city of Asoka, he is definitely in some trouble. Will he be able to keep his job and find true love? Or will he be a lonely voice heard only; Over the Radio.

Isn't this story how a-lot of people leave this world ? I don't know what's up with my brain when writing stuff like this. ( ON HOLD ) for most people, living off on cheap noodles, late night gigs, and part-time jobs, in a cramped apartment complex, is the worst way to live - this was the life fukuda eiji was living.
