Dan never expected to fall in love with his roommate, but most people don't know who they're really meant to be with.

Dan is an orphan, his parents disowned him after finding out he was a werewolf. He now lives alone in the forest trying to hide his deepest secret while getting bullied at school. Although, his life does seem to be getting a lot better after he meets Phil Lester. - Cover art by the amazing @Vivianadichiara on tumblr :)

Daniel howell, a teenager in his last year of high school, gets a text, and it all changes from there.

Phil Lester is a successful Youtuber who lives in a wonderful apartment with a wonderful boyfriend, Daniel Howell. The only thing that is different in their lives is that Dan is Autistic. (The only trigger warnings in this story is self harm, meltdowns, hate and mental illness)

Sam. Ugly. Trusting. Depressed. Trustworthy. Fat. Nice. Worthless. Slut. Annoying. Stupid. Mammoth. Mental. There were obviously more things wrong with them, then there was right. The Gay British couple had to have been insane or high when they decided to adopt this certain kid. The one who got disowned by their parents and thrown from orphanage to orphanage because no one wanted them. Phan, a ship name given to Dan and Phil by their loyal youtube subscribers, Decides they want to add an Additional life to their family of two. The first Orphan they talked to while they were there was Sam, and they immediatly knew that they were the one. For Sam, they thought life couldn't be better. They were wrong, It did get so much better. But nothing ever stays perfect. It's just Murphey's Law.

Dan and Phil are two men that met at a train station. They both have a YouTube channel and have watched each other a lot. Soon they discover something about themselves they never would have found without the other boy. (A/N the picture for the title I found on Google I didn't make that I just thought that it was a nice picture that suited my story so if any one is the artist for that I'm sorry for taking your picture.)

"The truth is there was something going on. A huge thing. It was towering over me like a dragon and eating away at me until I felt like there was nothing left of me, but even then it still persisted. But I couldn't make Phil upset. I couldn't put this on him. I couldn't. I care about him too much" After tour Dan and Phil are finally back in their flat and there lives are as busy as ever. But there is something looming over Dan. Something big. Really big. A story of love. A story of surprise. A story of secrets.

When Phil gets into the huge car crash that almost kills his life, the crash had damaged a quarter of Phil's brain which made him act similar to how a child would. The doctors moved Phil to a mental ill hospital, knowing Phil would never get better. Dan following behind Phil, visited him every day and night, sleeping at the hospital at every chance he could get. He refuses to give up on the fact that Phil is slowly dying, spending all the time he could with him. Phil adores Dan, but he doesn't realize why Dan is upset some of the time he's with him. Phil doesn't realize his sickness, and when he does will it be to late?

"Hi I'm Phil," "Fuck off," - Phil's the new guy. A total sweetheart and he's always nice to everyone even when they treat him awfully. Dan has a reputation. He's a walking stereotype: the bad boy. Nobody knows how Dan is falling apart piece by piece, nobody understands, nobody cares. Dan doesn't know what it's like to have someone love him uncontrollably . Until he meets Phil.

Dan and Phil go to the same highschool, Dan starts getting anonymous texts from one of his class mates and tries to figure out who it it.
