More specifically her best friend, Bucky Barnes. She knew, she couldn't say it because Evelyn was afraid, afraid of loosing him. Bucky wasn't the type to settle down with one girl. No he went on dates every time when he is on leave. Dates with different girls every night. Evelyn could only watch from afar and act happy around his girls. But she knew it was hurting her, Steve knew it was hurting her. So since then beginning she had focus on her work in the army. With the help of her childhood best friend Howard Stark. Evelyn lost her family at the age of 7 and the Stark family took her in as theirs. So what happens when Evelyn thought Bucky is gone because of Hydra? What if she and her team got the intel at a hydra base? But would happen if she didn't get out but succesfully helped her other team mates out? Making her best friend Steve and Howard thinking she died. But what if really, she was just captured by Hydra and became an experiment that would change her life. Imogen could hear a person talk without their mouths moving. Imogen never knew her parents, but since she was taken the only family she had was a German doctor named Abraham Erskine. He saved her and became a father figure to her, took her to America where she met Steve and he introduced her to Bucky. Now she is all grown up and helps Steve lead the fight against Hydra and take down Red Skull forever.
