This is where young Lúthien's story continues, after experiencing a traumatic experience she finds herself running for the Great Elven King's gates not long before jumping off the bridge that connects the Mirkwood forest to the Thranduil's palace. And from there, her adventure growing up in the Woodland Realm begins PSA! The account Tauriel_Greenleaf23 has been stealing my work and publishing it! She's been through a lot. Watching your parents death will scar you forever, especially when your close to them. Bellethiel was lost, all alone in the Mirkwood forest, the forest that will haunt her forever. She spent time strengthening her sences, wielding a sword, practicing a bow and arrows, and she taught herself how to throw knives. She has defended herself for many, many years. Then the Mirkwood soldiers found her. They took her to their king where he tested her strengths.That's when a certain elf took a liking in what she could do. Then she realized.. she's not alone.

The Elven King Thranduil has always been known as an elf that shows little affection, always portrayed as cold. But on the inside, he has always felt a hole in his heart ever since his wife died ages ago. Only a few of the older elves recall a time when Thranduil would openly laugh or smile, long before the incident that claimed the love of his life. Since then, Thranduil has been highly wary of anyone entering Mirkwood where he rules. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End had always assumed adventure would be something magical, until he is separated from Thorin and the others, having become lost in the frenzy. Delirious from his injuries and with vague amnesia, Bilbo passes out in Mirkwood, fairly close to Thranduil's Palace. Before he succumbs to his injuries, he is saved by a group of elves on a patrol. While Bilbo is recovering, Thranduil becomes oddly close to the little Hobbit, treating him to something akin to a child. Slowly, as the days pass, the King of the Elves feels the gaping hole in his heart beginning to close. (Note: I got all of my information on The Hobbit solely by watching the films. I apologize if I get any information regarding the characters wrong. I'm still very new to the fandom as a whole.)
