This is the story of Edgar, the child of Esmeralda and Quasimodo, and he just wants to be himself, but its very hard to do so with having to deal with everything all at the same time. But Edgar tries, they really do, but with everything happening at once, his brain hurts too much to focus (P.S: this is an ALTERNATE ending to the 1996 Hunchback Of Notre Dame movie, where Quasimodo & Esmeralda end up as a couple, rather then Esmeralda ending up with Pheobus. This story ALSO takes place in the late 90s and 2000s!!)

Hello! If you know me I absolutely Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame but believe the disney take that came out in 1996 did the book wrong in many ways. One being one of the biggest characters in the book, Claude Frollo. I don't hate the movie, just believe they portrayed him in a very vicious and bloodthirsty way, completely opposite to the book. But no matter, he's an amazing, deep, original character and I think he deserves some fanfic. So I've taken it upon myself to write a version of the movie all my own and if you've read my other story ("The Servant of Judge Frollo") then you'll know I've been busy. This one however is a little more twisted with new characters and a darker plot. It all starts when Judge Frollo is told the very last thing he wants to hear. He is getting help from a foreigner who has ties to the king named Nikolas to control the larger gypsy population. Frollo and Nikolas cannot stand each other but decided upon a plan to infiltrate the Court of Miracles and capture the gypsies once and for all! But will love and jealousy get in the way? Especially when Healia and Esmeralda get involved? A fanfic filled with hopeless love, lies and bitter truths I really hope you all will enjoy this new fanficion. Please read and review!!! He gave me a small smile and helped me stand up straight ,"My name is Dom what's yours?", he asked still holding my hand in his. "I'm Esmy",I answered and smiled back at him. That was the first time I met Dominic Hunter. After that little incident, Dom became my closest friend. He defended me when someone mocked me and help me when I was in trouble. At first I was oblivious to the fact that Dom was my neighbor but once I knew, I started hanging out with him more often and slowly I started to notice that I liked Dom, a lot and that's when i had my first innocent crush. ***************** FIVE YEARS LATER. "watch where you're going loser!", Dom snarled at me without even looking at me. I was hurt and heart broken. The sweet Dom I once knew was not the same, instead was a mean and a heartless Dom. It all changed when people started inviting him to parties and hang outs. He became distant and eventually forgot I even existed. Nonetheless I moved on and got new friends but my feelings for him finally changed….right?

Just before Esmeralda's hanging, Frollo decides to give her a last chance to choose him over the gallows. Being devastated from the events, what if she accepts? Mostly based on the book but contains some elements from the Disney movie. Anyone who has read/seen either of them can follow. The first half (chapters 1-23) focuses on Frollo/Esmeralda while the second half focuses on Quasimodo/Esmeralda.
