13 year old Layla lives in Paris under the tyrannical rule of Judge Claude Frollo. Her best friend Esmeralda, is like a sister to her, since all of Layla's family are dead, Esmeralda has looked after her for years. Despite the dangers, Layla is happy in Paris with the other gypsies. But her scarred face, causes most strangers to keep their distance. Things start to get dangerous, as Esmeralda continues to defy Frollo, putting her, and all of the other gypsies in danger. During the Festival of Fools, Esmeralda stands up for herself, causing her and Layla to go into hiding. When things start to heat up, how long can Layla stay hidden?

"Your a rambunctious group aren't you?" She giggled taking his hand. "I try." He whispered gently in her ear. She shook her head in a playful manner and squeezed his hand. She thought about her future with the young man beside her. She was snapped out of her daydream when he started talking to her. "Whatcha' thinking about?" He gently rubbed his thumb over his hand in reassurance. "Nothing." He didn't seem to sure with her answer, but didn't question it. "There goes Thomas. Being daring as ever." She let out a light laugh, and punched the young boy sitting next to her. "Well, he was trained by someone just as daring." He smirked at her and kissed her cheek, which made her slightly blush. This is the life they wanted. The life they wanted for each other. They didn't want anything more or less. Clopin is replaced with my character Ray Myst, other wise known as 'Hero in Training: Void'. This is the setting of the movie the main changes are that quirks exist, the cast is different, and my character takes our beloved Clopin's place. *The only thing I own in this book is my original characters*
