Sometimes a witch or wizards magical signature is so completely incompatible with another that they repel one another like magnets. On the other hand, if two magical signatures mesh well together, well there are no stronger relationships in all the world. In a sample of a thousand people, the average witch or wizard will be slightly repelled by four or five people and strongly repelled by only one, at the most. The opposite is true for attraction. But Harry Potter can't kiss anyone at all.

The Wizarding World isn't done with Harry Potter yet. Seventh year had been a mess for the Golden Trio, and with Hermione's pleading, it's back to Hogwarts they go for an eighth year. Only, they aren't the only ones with hopes of making up a disastrous year. Enter wronged Hufflepuffs, uncomfortable epiphanies, a lack of pining for one's supposed The One... Dragons and Snakes, broken bottles, haywire spells... A snarky blonde-haired ferret with uncomfortable feelings, and a tired hero willing to give second chances... Harry returns to Hogwarts for his eight year. Him and Ginny were supposed to be the power couple right? Wrong. Harry can't figure out anything especially his thoughts and feelings towards a specific blonde Slytherin. Draco comes back after a summer of hell. He's traumatic past is not make his current life any easier. He tries his best to keep everything under the surface, determined the pretend he's ok and happy. Everything seems so pointless and impossible until the one and only shaggy haired Gryffindor steps into his life. The Golden Trio has to go back to Hogwarts for an eighth year after the second wizarding war. Along with some particularly nasty Slytherins. But what will happen when the eighth years get resorted, and when these slytherins start acting nice. The Golden Trio will find out what's going on.

And the truce between the Slytherin's and Gryffindor's that came with it wasn't helping. The golden and bronze trio's head back to Hogwarts for 8th year, and of couse 'Drarry' is the talk of the school. Due to this, Draco and Harry's friends haven't been getting much attention from the two. Hermione didn't mind as this gave her more time to study, and Pansy was busy with her own lovers. What will come of Ron and Blaise?

Merlin knows Minerva McGonagall would never let the first years go into the second grade curriculum with the war as their first year. So she comes up with a brilliant plan: former seventh years have an optional eighth year where they can learn the actual seventh year curriculum, then the former sixth years go into seventh like normal, then also have an optional eighth year, same with sixth, fifth, and so on. Until the first years from the war graduate after eighth. Then the seventh from that year graduate, as well. Everything goes back to normal. An unexpected bonus: only the ones who actually care come back for eighth year. Meaning they can have smaller, more interactive classes. People actually ask questions and, more importantly, they really learn. This leads to people selecting classes they really care about, while still taking other classes. Certain people can finally know what they want do, without input from the pressure of others. Just doing what you love can get you far in life. In the middle of the dirty, rotting church, sat the man Hermione spent hours longing to see. He stuck out like a tiger in a deep, dark cave. A rainbow of colors painted his face as they shone through the tinted windows, as if God was showing off his most prized creation. Hermione had never seen such a view. For once, he looked calm-not the usual raging storm that hid behind his stony eyes. Hermione felt if she moved enough to disturb him, the entire place was going fall down in front of her, taking him with it. She couldn't let that happen. Still, his eyes flicked over to her. He studied her slowly, a lustful daze following soon behind his stare. As Hermione neared him, he licked his lips and murmured, "I've waited for you far longer than I've wanted to, Granger."

But even without the device, he often finds himself zoning out and thinking of what he saw, of WHO he saw, of what their past could've been and what their future may hold... Suffering from survivors guilt and PTSD, the boy feels like no-one could understand him. Who would have any sympathy for a death eater, afterall? None other than Harry James Potter, that's who.
