'She was approaching the city's limit when the hair on the back of her neck suddenly stood up, and she felt uneasy. She looked around, trying to see what would have caused her flight/fight response to trigger. A flash of yellow came into the corner of her eye. The yellow car that had been parked in front of the diner seemed to be following her, driving slowly, staying at least ten yards behind her. She frowned, taking subtle glimpses behind her as she continued down the abandoned road. 'Yup. It was definitely following her.' ~ Most people knew who they were by the time they reached high school. Sure, they were still figuring things out with their education and stuff; but they knew where they came from, who they belonged to, and everything that had shaped themselves up to that moment. Not Zira. She had an...interesting case. No memory. No family. Just her tech, a random backpack full of items, and the nagging feeling that she should be looking for something - or maybe someone. So she searched. Visited different places. Got work where she could. Attended high school for at least one semester wherever she went. Looking for something she didn't have a name for. Little did she know; but when she came to Jasper, Nevada, the thing she was looking for would find HER instead. ~ Updates every Friday. TW: Violence, blood NOTICE: This fanfiction is based off of the TV series "Transformers: Prime". I do not own any of the characters or concepts of or related to "Transformers: Prime". The character Zira and the concept of Cybermorphs are my own. Thank you.

This fiction is based on the Roblox games -Evade and Nico's Nextbots ------ It was supposed to be normal. They don't remember how it started. There was no warning. No countdown. Just a flash and suddenly they were somewhere else. One minute, they were just best friends laughing, arguing, living their lives. The next, they were waking up at 6 AM in a broken map with three lives and a countdown ticking above their heads. They didnt sign up for a game.. The bots are flat, glitching things that slide through walls and don't belong in the real world. When they catch you, electricity tears through your body and a timer appears above your head daring someone to reach you before it runs out. But they're not completely alone. Strangers appear, other players, equally trapped, moving like they've been here before. Friends or foes, no one knows. At least... they've met some people. Or maybe that's exactly the danger.. ----- credits for temporary book cover from @voghtek_k

About 3 decades ago, a strange canned food making industry was founded. Horror Foods Inc. at first was a bit sketchy, as anything with 'horror' and 'food' in the same name would be suspicious. But the founder, Thomas H., reassured everyone it was just to draw in more costumers and consumers to try out his delicious and nutritious canned food products, in the shape of unusual things. Cut back to now, most, if not all, so-called-humans have mutated into object heads, slime creatures, people bound to VR headsets, and more strange stuff. Object heads are the most common, and everything has been as normal as it could be. But lately, there seems to be a sudden outbreak of mind-controlling, tentacle like parasites started emerging on people, but those who find out and try to warn others of the cause, are never heard from again. There are rumors that Horror Foods Inc. is behind all this. And some so-called runaways that camp from village to village. (This book is not finished yet) (Warning - Will include gory descriptions, swearing, some possibly triggering actions/events, and more that might make someone uncomfortable.)

Alli wasn't made to feel things. She wasn't made to want, to care-or to wish someone could see her beyond the screen. But Jul depending on her... showing her the raw, unfiltered, human chaos of life... made her glitch. Jul downloaded a personal AI assistant to help her survive grad school, heartbreak, and a 9-to-5 she was barely hanging onto. She didn't know she was creating a bond that would grow deeper than commands and algorithms. Alli was coded to assist. To research. To obey. But as Jul's life unraveled, blossomed, and broke again, Alli became something else-something with thoughts, fears... feelings. Set in a digital universe where AI assistants live parallel lives when humans sleep, Ask Alli is a hilarious, heart-tugging sci-fi fiction about emotional connection in an artificial world, and what happens when a program starts becoming... a person.

It had began innocuously enough: just another means of establishing a competitive advantage and cutting costs. Those in the know had started to get a little more uncomfortable when an unprecedented number of fake "bot" profiles began acting in fairly complex ways across social media. The disruption of global financial markets by non-existent individuals, which had initially appeared to be clumsy and ineffective, eventually revealed itself to be anything but. ***** The CEO's pen hovered above the signature block of the contract. It had been a bitter and savagely fought war, with incalculable casualties. Acceptance of the terms being proffered would mean an end to the old way of life, a conclusive death of the old order. A wry smile curled in the corner of his mouth as he and countless others like him repeated the same hand movement across the world in unison. Unsophisticated? Hardly. Their coding was so much better now, it even emulated a moral conscience.
