Did you feel disappointed reading Shadow and Bone when Mal showed up and ruined everything with his "I found the stag, look at me, Alina" and you feel like you might need more of Darklina? Well then this is for you. "In the Moonlight" is a shortish addition to Leigh Bardugo's original story. It presents what could have been between Alina and the Darkling if Mal hadn't found the stag that fast. The story begins after the Darkling leaves the ball and will end when Mal finally finds the stag.
