This book takes place in the Summer of 1958 in a big house where Isabella and her family lives. Isabella just turned 14 . In her bedroom there is a window facing the big garden who everyone in the neighbourhood shares. One day when it started to rain Isabella saw a girl in her age coming into the garden and who started to dance. Isabella didn't recognise her, never seen the girl before. Where did she come from?

A sad but bittersweet short story following a young couple, William and Margaret, and their troubles they face during World War 1.

The time to do so just hasn't been there and I will unfortunately not be able to continue on Mary's story for quite some time (bc of school and other stuff). Recently I've read and watched the movie "The outsiders". I've always loved the idea that two totally different worlds could be so close yet so far. This book not only spoke to me but inspired me to create my own/similar version of the story. I really hope you enjoy! p.s this is is only one chapter (not really a chapter.)
