Bakugo lets out a long, tired sigh as he rests his chin on his palm, trying his best to not look outside. The craving for movement was something he always felt, although it was much easier in to control it in middle school, but this is the hero course, so why shouldn't he be waiting to finally go outside and get some action?

It's been one full week since the start of the school year, and ever since the school year started, all they've been getting is action — they even got to visit the USJ, otherwise known as the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, and ended up in real-life situations from which they had to save dummies, and almost got drowned in the process, and Mineta broke his arm, but they don't talk about that.

Would've been much better if we spent more time there than listening to this stupid lecture... Bakugo thought, annoyed. Bakugo once again shifted in his seat, trying to somewhat change his seating position. Suddenly, he perked up as he heard his teacher's tone change.

"...Anyways, I understand that most of you are more careful than Mineta is, and I probably should've left this lecture for later, but Nezu asked me to do this, since I'll have to be giving you the full lecture about it later." Aizawa finished, thankfully admitting the annoyance of the lecture. "Now, for the good news that you'd probably been waiting. Today, we're going on another field trip." The class smiled excitedly, and Bakugo couldn't hold back a smirk. He would never hold back showing the, as Bakugo always called them, extras from his class (especially Todoroki, otherwise known as half-and-half bastard and many other nicknames) the abilities of the future number one, and the field trip will be the perfect way to do it.

"The SCAC, or Simulated City Attack Center is also a training center owned by Thirteen, although for safety reasons, it's further away than the USJ. It's an open zone that simulates a city under a villain attack. There are hired professionals that play the role of villains, which are mostly pro heroes, and also professionals playing the role of citizens. For this training, we will exclude the citizens in order to help you train minimizing collateral damage before adding the citizens into the equation." Aizawa smirked slightly at their enthusiastic reaction, and the students hesitated; the class already knew well that when their teacher smirked, he is definitely going to say something that will worsen their mood and make them more anxious to the supposedly exciting experience. "The villains will be included though. And I made sure to tell them not to hold back, only unless you might seriously injure yourself, or die."

The class all internally groaned, even though they had already guessed that the villains wouldn't be excluded. This might be a great excuse to finally get to move around...But it was going to come with consequences, and Aizawa knew exactly how to put them back into their place.

A few minutes after, the class was settled in the bus, Kirishima sitting next to Bakugo, despite Bakugo's obvious displacement and the explosion sent towards his face (luckily and unluckily deflected easily by Kirishima's hardening quirk). Bakugo immediately zoned out of the one-sided conversation with his bus seat partner, watching the lively morning city of Musutafu pass by.

That is, until he saw someone, and his eyes widened in disbelief.

Bakugo jerked upwards, staying in a half standing position as he watched the green haired male intently, not blinking. Suddenly, the male turned around, and Bakugo felt his chest tighten.

The male had mutant marks of cat whiskers...One that definitely didn't belong to the person he searched for.

"Hey, Bakubro...What was that about? You're pale, need some water?" Kirishima asked, surprised by his classmates unusual behavior. It didn't take long for the class to know each other well, and when it came to Bakugo, Kirishima already knew what he was like, and knew better than to ignore the sudden change in attitude of the explosive boy.

"Whatever." Bakugo stated, the tone barely a grunt, almost like he couldn't force himself to sound angry. That freaked Kirishima out even more, but before he could speak, he quickly shut his mouth and let out a sigh. I'm just gonna make things worse...I'll have to ask him one on one later. He realized, thankfully for Bakugo who simply let out a somewhat annoyed sigh. He continued to gaze out the window as memories of the greenette he knew came flooding back.

Izuku Midoriya...Gone missing 6 years ago. The son of Inko Midoriya, or Auntie Inko as Bakugo had previously called her, who...Who wasn't exactly found. Well, her blood and flesh were though.

The scene was awful — blood, guts, soaked flesh all spilled around the room, splatter across the walls...Almost like she was exploded from the inside. The smell of the room was nauseating, and even the investigators, who have seen cases somewhat similar to the Midoriyas, visibly flinched and scrunched their noses when they first saw the scenery. Izuku Midoriya had also not been found, but there was undeniable evidence that his blood was...Was also mixed with his mother's. It was stupid, really, but whenever he remembered the scene he found at the age of 9 when he came to hang out with the boy, along with nausea, he also felt...Hope.

Relief.

It was a small, but undeniable and disgusting feeling his gut after they announced that blood and some flesh were the only things they found. After all, their bodies were never found.

Sure, Inko's guts and blood were enough to prove her dead. No one could survive so much blood loss and, well, even organ loss...But even though there was Midoriya's blood, there wasn't as much. That meant there was still a chance...Right?

Bakugo shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts from the gut-churning scenery. Luckily, he didn't get PTSD, but the awful rotting feeling in his mind whenever he thought of the blood and guts never left him. Neither had Izuku Midoriya's innocent and hope-filled face whenever he saw anyone that looked similar to him.

"We're here. Get out of the bus and line up at the entrance." Aizawa stated to the students as the doors of the buss opened with a loud hiss. Bakugo took a deep breath before confidently standing up, and snapping at Kirishima in front of him being too slow. Although, Bakugo couldn't help but change his grumpy expression to one of surprise as he saw was the SCAC looked like.

In the front was a small building which said "Simulated City Attack Center", and seemed to be the entrance into the enormous simulation behind them. As the class walked in an entered the street of the simulated city (which was literally almost the size of a town), Bakugo couldn't help but think about the cost of this construction. Where do they get the money for this..?!

"Hey there Class 1A! Great to see you again!"

The class turned towards the pro hero, their gazes wavering towards the skyscrapers behind the wonder of the simulation, Thirteen. The class greeted the pro, the bubbly girl named Uraraka squealing like a fan girl (which she actually was) at the sight of her favorite hero. Thirteen cleared her throat, and remembering her rambling she had accidentally not noticed the last time she talked to the class during their visit to the USJ, immediately got to the point.

"Anyways, as you may already know, or see, this is going to be a situation simulated in a city. Unlike the USJ, where there was only one setting that included a city, which didn't have any villains or civilians, this will simulate the most common villain attack; one that takes place in a city." Thirteen explained. Bakugo smirked to himself slightly as he remembered the ease at which he got through the USJ program Thirteen had created for them.

Well, until he had to deal with the sudden flood and panicking Kaminari that almost killed them, but it wasn't his fault in any way.

"Today, you're going to simply take down villains, without rescue. Obviously, as you probably were told by your sadistic teacher," The class felt Thirteen smirk playfully as she turned towards Aizawa, placing her hands on her hips. "There will be villains that you will have to take down." Bakugo grinned at the challenge. He couldn't help but hope that another pro would agree to play the role of a villain — after all, that was even a better way to prove his superioress in power to the rest of Class 1A.

But suddenly, fate decided to take a turn in another direction; one that didn't favor the trainees.

"Are we already starting? No countdown, just like the entrance exam!" Kirishima realized as he looked behind Thirteen. Thirteen and Aizawa turned around, their eyes widening as they watched purple mist expand through the street. Suddenly, people started walking out of it, cracking their knuckles and stretching as they looked around.

"Those...Those aren't the villains that are supposed to be working with us!" Before the class could process what a Thirteen had said, Aizawa jumped in front of them, quickly putting on his goggles and grabbing a piece of his weapon cloth on his neck.

"This is a real villain attack! Do not engage!" Aizawa snapped at the students, who finally realized what was going on. A real villain attack?! They all thought in shock.

"Hello, UA trainees." The class spun around towards the familiar voice, Aizawa and Thirteen turning with them to see the purple mist already behind them as well. "I apologize for coming in unannounced, but I fear that is the only way we can achieve our goal..." The purple mist spoke formally as it floated around freely.

"Although, I'm afraid we must have made a mistake. The number one hero seems to be absent...A change of plans?" There was a small pause, no one answering the mist man's question. The mist man let out a sigh before speaking again, his voice suddenly sounding more threatening than formal. "Seems we have to take drastic measures to lure the symbol of peace out of his spotlight in Musutafu...Maybe students losing their lives would get him to come."

The hero and hero trainees immediately stood into a fighting stance, preparing to fight for their lives if they needed to, but before they could tell where and what the attack was going to be, they were getting sucked into the purple mist, their vision fading as they entered the black abyss.

Bakugo felt the air get knocked out of his lungs as he crashed into a solid surface...Although, it felt different. It couldn't have been the cobblestone he was standing on with his class seconds earlier, this one felt smoother.

He quickly stood up, trying to catch his breath as he looked around...Only to see that he seemed to be somewhere in the middle of the simulated city.

"Dammit! A warping quirk?" Bakugo grunted to himself as he snapped his eyes around him, trying to find where to go. He heard the sounds of multiple peoples footsteps and quickly turned the corner, away from the street, where a few seconds later, passed by people he didn't recognize. They look like any other villains...What's so special about them that they decided to fight against hero trainees? Underestimation? No. It can't be that...

"Let's just get this over with." One of the men grunted as he flicked his thumb towards where Bakugo was peeking from. Bakugo's eyes widened in shock and realization, and just as he jumped away from the alley through which he was peeking and to the side,  a scorpion looking tail broke cracked the wall he was previously standing near.

A mutant type of quirk...And possibly a detecting or enhanced vision quirk...And that's only two of them! Bakugo then smirked, feeling his determination rise. I guess I'll just have to take them down before they get to use the other! Bakugo jumped from behind the wall and sped up using his explosions, startling the villains from the loudness. The villain that noticed him first easily got taken down, Bakugo setting off small explosions into the mans' face and slamming it into the ground, the villain shaking as he desperately scratched the pavement below him in pain.

Bakugo reacted just in time to dodge the scorpion tale that smacked the ground where he was standing seconds ago, and Bakugo, having realized the villains may have pretty powerful quirks but were still low thugs with no plan or much intelligence, took them down one by one using the same technique on all of them. Finally having finished off the last thug, he sighed and cracked his knuckles as he felt the adrenaline and excitement of the fight wear off and slowly began to realize what happened.

"Shit...Should've asked who they're working for." Bakugo grunted to himself, angrily scratching the back of his neck. He let out a tired groan before turning, ready to start searching for his classmates and the heroes, when suddenly something caught his eyes and he tensed up. That was because it wasn't something — it was someone.

And that someone was aiming knives at him, the knives floating around the female figure as she angrily looked at Bakugo, her silver eyes shining violently. The knives suddenly drew back a little, and before Bakugo could understand what was happening, they were speeding towards him. They pierced his skin, making Bakugo gasp in shock as he didn't even acknowledge the pain, falling to his knees in shock.

At least, that's what he thought happened.

His expression slowly turned into a frown as he felt the places where he knew the knives were aimed at, and where he was sure they hit, but...But he was fine, no wounds, no knives sticking out of his flesh. Perfectly fine. How...?

Suddenly, Bakugo heard a quiet grunt and swirled around to see someone not too far away, shaking as he stood in front of Bakugo's attacker. The guy that was standing was wearing an oxygen mask, partially seen from the side view Bakugo got, and seemed about Bakugo's height, although it was hard to tell by how weakly slouched he was. Bakugo's eyes widened as he realized why: His side was bleeding exactly where Bakugo should've been hit.

The person fell onto the ground and tried to roll over onto his back weakly as he started to breathe shallowly, causing uneven whistles from the oxygen mask as he shook. Bakugo's eyes widened in confusion as he tired to figure out whether to help him or not. This can't be a villain...If he was, then why did he save me? Bakugo thought anxiously, worriedly looking at the injured and possibly dying male.

Finally making up his mind, he hurried towards the injured, watching as the guy reached towards his wounds, his hand shaking, but not reaching the wound as if in realization of what contact to the wound could do, despite barely being conscious and in an obvious state of shock.

"Hey...Hey! Hold on there, I'm getting help." Bakugo snapped at him, turning around and ready to sprint to find a teacher, but the person gasped and whimpered as they tried to turn towards the blond.

"No...Heroes..." The male voice croaked out desperately, seeming to try to reach Bakugo with the hand on his injured side. Bakugo hissed in panic and annoyance and took the guy's hand and placed it unusually gently onto the floor, being able to carefully place it without contacting the wounds on the injured male's side.

"Hey, I'm taking this off." Bakugo stated roughly as he reached for the guys hood and took it off. He stopped midway as he saw familiar...

Bakugo shook his head and put the hood of completely. He began to unstrap the oxygen mask that covered his mouth, and nose, with the holes for breathing whistling quietly and evenly, signaling the guy was probably unconscious, most likely knocked out from lack of energy or shock...Bakugo wasn't exactly well informed medically. He carefully took of the mask, and his hand stopped halfway from the familiar face.

Light freckles, pale skin, dark green hair sticking to the side of his face and forehead as his emerald, half lidded eyes slowly continued to flutter close, and with little effort attempted to be opened again. At that moment, despite caring for the familiar old friend on the ground, he forgot about the boy's injuries as he spoke the name he hasn't said aloud in years.

"I..." Bakugo hesitated, disbelieving. "Izuku?"
