(Amelia's POV)
It's been a crazy week, I always feel like someone is watching me. Though I can never see anyone. Sarah won't let me walk to work or from work anymore, she picks me up and drops me off. Same with school, it was driving me crazy. I did spot someone following me, but once I called the police they were gone. I was told to stop calling the police or I would get a ticket
"You need to get yourself a car Amelia, aren't your parents loaded. Ask them for a car"
"No" I shock my head "You know I hate asking for things from them"
"I know, but with what's happening. You need to get a car"
"I'm fine walking, I know it's hard for you to always driving me everywhere"
"It's fine, but you having your own car would be great" she laughed as we pulling into our parking lot "But it's whatever, we only have three months left of school"
"Yeah, I think I'm gonna go back home for a vacation, take my week off that I was told I need to spend according to my work" I rolled my eyes and get out of the car
"Yeah, I'm gonna go home too. See my little brother and mom" she smiled sadly
Sarah never had a good relationship with her mom, it went further down hill after her father pasted away in high school. Every now and then she sent money to her brother and would face time him. He was now a freshman in high school.
"I bet your brother would be so happy to see you" I smile as we link arms walking up the stairs
"Yes, I'd be glade to see him in person. I miss him"
"I bet you do. I miss my parents, I haven't told them about what's been going on. I have a feeling they would bring me home" I shook my head as I opened the door "They are to ov-" I stop mid sentence
"Amelia someone's sitting on the couch" Sarah whispered into my ear
"I see that" I grabbed the bat that was by the door
"Put the bat down. I'm not gonna hurt you, well not yet"
He stood up and turned to face us, who the hell was this guy? I gripped the bat tighter as held it up in case he tried anything
"Who are you?" I snapped
"No one in particular" he shrugged
"Why are you here? How'd you get in the apartment?" He took a few steps around the couch and towards us
"What a fucking creep, stay away" Sarah growled as I gripped the bat tighter
"Well you'll be coming with me"
"I'm calling the police" I start typing the number into my phone
"I wouldn't do that" in a quick flash he was in front of me and grabbing my phone from my hands
