For a moment Anisha forgot about Egar's existence there, and lost in the world of books..

The man on the tree sighed..and continued watching them...
Egar...who already knows about the presence of his fathers spy, smiled a little under his breath..

It's late evening now..
Today's meeting went smoothly aswell.. After passing time while reading they ended their meeting when the time came and Anisha went home..
Egar is now in his office, doing some paperwork...

Egar stood up and start to walk towards Emperors Office, with Shen following behind..
After walking for a while they are infront of the Emperors office..
Infront of the office, there's one of his Majesty's attendant waiting for Egar..
When Egar came forward the attendant knocked the door and let Egar in, while he (attendant) and Shen stood outside the door...
Egar took a deep breath and went in..
"Greetings father..."
Egar bowed politely and greet the Emperor...
"Hmmmm...Come have a sit.."
The Emperor didn't bother looking at him... He spoke while sipping his tea..
Egar walked towards the sofa and sit infront of his father...
A few minutes passed..
Finally the Emperor broke the silence...
"How's your meetings going with Lady Verita?"
"Fine I guess.."
Egar said looking at his reflection on the tea..
"You guess?
Not sure about your own activities? Heh ~
A future Emperor is guessing things randomly without making sure of it.. How pathetic!"
The emperor shoot a glare at him..
"........."
Egar didn't said anything and kept his head down...
The emperor sighed and spoke again...
"Egar!"
"Yes father.."
He replied still looking at his tea..
"I don't know what you are thinking but stop doing that and take things seriously!!!"
The emperor pissed off..
"Don't embarrass me and your mother and prove us wrong for choosing you as the heir.."
With that statement Egar snapped...
"Aren't I doing it already??
All my life, I've made sure that I'm good in everything.. I made sure that I can be a perfect crown prince and I don't embarrass You or Mother!!
I'm still trying hard to do more... But why? Why wasn't that enough?? Why I'm not enough??"
Egar said angrily, holding his tea cup tightly...
A little bit more pressure can break this cup into pieces.....just like his mind right now...
The emperor is quite taken aback at his son's sudden outburst...
His son was always clam and collected.. Maybe he shouldn't have brought his mothers name..
His first child, Egar, That kid really loved the second empress.. Because, the first empress died during giving birth to Egar, that kid never knew what a mother is like.....until the the second empress came..
Egar was always sensitive towards the topics about the second empress..

The emperor said in a soft tone, feeling guilty..
But Egar's rage still didn't cooled down..
"Then what is it? Why do you still prefer the Verita child over me?
Why don't you guys have any conference in me? Am I that bad?

The emperor said clenching his teeth..

The emperor sighed and took a sip of his tea...trying to calm himself down...
" I have no doubt in you..
You are already perfect to be the next Emperor..
But, only my opinion won't count.."
The emperor stopped for a while and spoke again..
"Don't take it emotionally.. Think it politically.. You need Verita family backing and that little lady of Verita house, she is the perfect Empress candidate right now.. And more than that, she is one of the prophecy's child.. So people will obey her anyway.. You can use this as your own good.."

The sky is full of clouds today...No stars can be seen....but there's a proud Moon that stands there...Shining brightly...Not scared of being alone...
Egar looked at it for a while and then start to walk again....
Because it's not his sky.... His sky is dark...there is no Moon in his sky to give some silverly happy lights...His sky is black and blank...
