Avy's POV
I check everything around the place, if everything is safe and ready. I was focusing on my list and suddenly bump into a hard object making me fall.
"Avy!! Are you okay??" He said as he reach out his hand. I look up and slowly focusing on the guy I bumped into
"Ohh Jay.. I am sorry for hitting you with my hard head" I said and responded to his help
"It's okay.. my chest is harder than your head though" he said as he was full of himself "by the way.. hmm... I kind off having trouble with one line" he smiled like a silly person
"Ohh~~ are you sure that you're not applying your acting skills infront of me??" I said looking at the ceiling because I am not easily get fooled
"Why would I?? Time is running out and every second is a crucial moment to me" he pouted and hang his hand on mine "follow me" he said pulling me to a room where only the two of us is present
"Why did you lead me here? It's spooky" I said and brushed my arm because I felt as if I am getting goosebumps again
"We are not there yet" he said and again pulled me infront of a wall. He then caressed the wall like a crazy person
"What are you doing?" I asked him while I was preventing myself from laughing, I might get him offended and that's not good
"Wait for it.. I am just finding the hidden so-- there it is" he pulled it off and a brighter light started to appear "come on... you will not believe what I just explored" he smiled
I followed him in and the room is really pretty. Everything in the room is maintained fixed. There were paintings on the wall, beautiful ones. Then books, as soon as I saw those books, I rushed in the shelves and pick some
"I didn't know that you are a book lover" I complimented him and he just sat down looking at me in a view
"You're so beautiful" he suddenly said and I just look at him being clueless
"There's a problem though... I not that beautiful" I replied "can I get this book?" I requested him and pulled a good one
"You have eyes for my book I really treasured a lot... it was written by Miss Park Sun Yeon sunbaenim, my mother-in-law" he suddenly said and smiled widely "It took me years waiting in the line for her autograph.. actually everything was signed by here... no single book was left" he said
"Wait... so you mean...... you already knew that she is my mom in the first place? How come?? She did everything to keep me away from appearing from media platforms... or... or?? Die your mot---" he stopped me
"It has nothing to do with my mother. There was a time when I visited her and suddenly saw you standing infront of her cell" he said and gave him a sharp look in the eye
"How come you didn't tell me? And oh~ even though I was standing infront of her cell.. can't I just be a fan of her too?" I raised my brow
"You won't let me finish" he pouted "after you were about to go.. I saw you jumped in to your father's car. Which was the only person who always stand beside her, her husband. And she mentioned it before that she has a pretty young daughter. So I just hypothesized that it was you... ever since that... hmmm... I always see you infront of her, crying and calling her your mother" he said and crossed his hands "how about that? I can be a detective later on right?" He said
"Then this secret is just for the two of us, okay?.. I just don't want it to be leaked" I told him as I hold his arm
"I also know that you are the one who wrote the story in our play" he smirked "I really am good.. right?" He said looking at me
"Yah! How did you know that!!!" I was shocked about his revelation and I just want to lock myself up into that room again
"Ofcourse.. your writing style and your mother's is pretty much the same.. are you her doppelganger?" He teased
"Yah! I am her daughter anyway" I replied "I remember this book though.. because I was the one who designed its cover" I told him
"You did?? That's why I like you.. You always have an eye for creating awesome books" he winked at me
"But please. Pretty please.. don't ever tell anyone.. for my sake. Please" I beg him and he just smiled
"While would I tell anyone about our secret??" He said as he look up, as if he was asking something in return "but.." he crossed his hands "Spend your time with me" he said
"You cunning little fox... okay okay.. Sure" I replied and reached for his hand
"This is just our secret.. I have never been more happy" he said as he jumps excitedly and we slowly sneaked out of his hidden room
"By the way.. when did you find out about that room?" I ask
"When you fell asleep in the table right there" he pointed my sleeping spot "and I leaned over this wall, causing it to open and let me in" he said
"Is that so?" I slowly smiled at him
"That's our secret spot now" he winked and left me here alone while I just saw his back and he was very happy.
"What was that" a cold breeze brushed my neck as someone stand beside me
"Oohh it's cold.. what was t-- Heeseung" I smiled at him "why do you always appear like someone who is part of the paranormal world. You're giving me creeps" I told him as I walk fast as I can.
As I look back. I saw Ji-eun clinging her hand on his "You look dashing today my dear" she said
It felt like my world was crumbling piece by piece just by looking to the both of them. What I did was just walk away with heavy footsteps.
You can't match her first love, so just get out of their sight
